The bloke who always takes it one step too far.

One more beer.
One more argument.
One more stupid decision.
One more excuse.

The guy riding around shirtless because he thinks he looks cool.

The guy who somehow turns every conversation back to him.

The guy who’s always falling out with his girlfriend, then getting back together, then falling out again.

The guy who cheats, lies, exaggerates, shows off, and somehow still manages to act surprised when everything falls apart.

The guy who thinks he’s the smartest person in the room.

The guy who thinks he’s the best dressed person in the room.

The guy who thinks everyone is looking at him.

The truth is, everyone is looking at him.

Not because they’re impressed.

Because they’re waiting to see what he’ll screw up next.

He’s exhausting.

He’s frustrating.

He’s embarrassing.

And somehow, every group keeps him around because life would probably be a little bit quieter without him.

The funny part?

Most of us have been that guy at some point.

Maybe not all the time.

Maybe not as badly.

But if you’ve lived long enough, you’ve probably been the idiot in somebody else’s story.

The trick isn’t pretending you’re above it.

The trick is recognising it before you become that guy permanently…

Well, the Broken Man has a camper van.
(Her name is …“Van Diesel”)

And after spending months turning a Toyota Hiace into a tiny home on wheels, I’ve barely used the bloody thing because it’s been hotter than Satan’s armpit.

That needs to change.

So me and Lucy 🐕 are hitting the road again. Not to wander around hoping we find something interesting. I want destinations.

Got a restaurant ? We’ll stop by and I’ll probably talk bad about it.
