Similan Island
Similan is a Yawi language which means "nine" which comes from the number of all the small and large islands that come together to form. The Similan Islands are located in the Similan Islands National Park, Phang Nga Province, located in Ko Phra Thong Subdistrict. Khuraburi District (The park office is located at Lam Kaen Subdistrict, Thai Mueang District) covers an area of 80,000 rai.
Similan Islands It is a small island. In the Andaman Sea, there are 9 islands, arranged from north to south, namely Koh Huyong, Koh Payang, Koh Payan, Koh Miang, Koh Payu, Koh Skull, Koh Similan, and Koh Ba Ngu. The Similan Islands are a group of islands that are both beautiful. On land and under water There are many beautiful coral species. You can dive in both shallow and deep water.
Similan Island is open for tourists to go on only 2 islands, which are Island 4 (Koh Miang) and Island 8 (Koh Similan). It is an island with a sailboat rock shape. which is the symbol of Similan Island
