After boarding the in Truk Lagoon we take you directly to the main concentration of wrecks located within the bay around Dublon and our diving adventure begins.

Before each dive, our guides will give an in-depth briefing for all our guests which will include a detailed site map with entries/exits, points of interest, hazardous objects and special considerations for the dive to enable you to plan appropriately.

Our Cruise Director and dive guides will offer guided dives, with simple wreck pe*******on, within the bounds of their own training and experience.

For technical divers wishing to explore deeper wrecks, our team prepare a descent line allowing an easy descent directly onto the wreck so you benefit from the support of the “mother ship” and deco bar whilst less experienced divers may dive shallower sites from our two skiffs at the same time.

Normally, we do not limit dive times, unless we need to move the boat, however, as Truk Lagoon is in a very remote location with limited emergency facilities, dive plans plans and extended bottom times must be reasonable from a safety point of view.

Roca Redonda is an underwater volcano, off Isabela Island in the . The site plays home to schools of hammerhead sharks and barracuda. Other commonly sighted marine life include Galápagos sharks as well as manta rays, silky sharks and some beautiful nudibranchs.

Strong and changeable currents are to be expected with occasional down currents, making this a challenging site to dive for even experienced professionals. The average depth is however 18m (60ft) and not nearly as cold as the "Ice Box", though we'd still recommend thick wetsuits!

Dive Day 1 aboard the
After a smooth cruise to Capitancillo, and a somewhat rainy night, we awoke to clear skies and gorgeous island ready for the first dives of our 10 night trip. Jo gave a thorough briefing, we got kitted up, crew helped everyone into the tenders and we were off! Steep reef walls with overhangs and black coral bushes offered up such delights as frogfish, longnosed hawkfish, Jorunna Funebris Nudis, bubblecoral shrimp, Moray eels and anemone fish; an awesome start to our group trip in the Southern Visayas.

One of the best dive sites in South Ari Atoll of the is Kudarah Thila, a small, isolated reef which is covered in soft and hard corals and teeming with fish life.

The top of the thila is 14-16 metres deep and drops off sharply to 27 metres all the
way around. If the current is not too strong, it's possible to navigate the entire thila in one dive and explore the top of the reef for macro species. Around the eastern end, there is a swim-through and two large overhangs decorated with yellow daisy corals on the ceilings and giant gorgonians on the floors.

Thousands of blue-lined snappers surround the reef, as well as large schools of humpback red snappers and bannerfish. Grey reef sharks are also regularly seen cruising the peripheries.

The , a twin hold freighter, sunk at Abu Nuhas Reef in April of 1983. She now lays at a depth of 25m and makes for a fabulous dive site!
The iconic stern superstructure contains the bridge, accommodation and engine room and can be easily penetrated, though divers should be wary of disorientation due to her 45 degree tilt to Port.
Moving forward you pass over the remains of the holds to the bow section. A great wreck to explore even if you prefer not to go inside

An American dreadnought, measuring 171 metres (562 ft) long and armed with twelve 12-inch guns and capable of a top speed of 20.5 knots. The Arkansas served in World War I and World War II escorting convoys in the Atlantic and bombarding shore targets during the invasions of Normandy, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

She was moored 205 metres (675 ft.) away from the underwater detonation of Test Baker and sank only 19 seconds after the blast, settling almost completely upside down on the sandy bottom at 55 m (180 ft) deep.
