The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has announced a new regulation to enhance passenger rights on domestic and international flights, effective May 20, 2025.

✈️ The regulation aims to strengthen protections and improve the travel experience for all passengers flying to and from Thailand.

🤝 Strengthening Future Aviation Professionals! ✈️

On March 27, 2025, Mr. Boonsom Phoungkaew, Managing Director and representative of BAGS Ground Services, officially signed an MOU with Khon Kaen Vocational College, represented by Dr. Kannika Yodsanga.

This collaboration aims to enhance academic cooperation through a dual vocational education system for the Higher Vocational Certificate (Diploma) in Aviation Business. Students will gain hands-on experience in real-world workplaces, fostering practical skills and industry readiness.

✈️🎉 A warm welcome to the inaugural flight of S7 Airlines on the Irkutsk - U-Tapao route! Flight S7 6323, operated by a Boeing 737-800, arrived with 168 passengers on board. This scheduled flight will operate from March 30, 2025, to October 23, 2025, bringing travelers from the Russian Federation to Thailand during the peak tourist season. 🇷🇺➡️🇹🇭

Vice Admiral Kiatkul Suwan, Deputy Director of U-Tapao International Airport, along with the airport management team, extended a warm welcome to the arriving passengers.

On February 22, 2025, Mr. Boonsom Phoungkaew, Managing Director, participated in a workshop organized by the Institute of Vocational Education: Southern Region 2. The session focused on identifying the growing need for high-skilled manpower in the Andaman region. It was an insightful discussion aimed at shaping the future workforce to meet regional demands.

Mr. Boonsom Phoungkaew, Managing Director, had the honor of attending the opening of the Career Support Center as part of the ERASMUS+ INNO4Tourism project. The event, held on February 13, 2025, also saw him congratulate Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, the President of Prince of Songkla University, Phuket campus.

INNO4Tourism is focused on bridging the gap between Thai and Lao universities and the evolving labor market needs in sustainable tourism.
