Lang Khai Bay is located on the east coast of Koh Tao, situated just south of the famous Tanote Bay. 🌴

It is a remote, hidden bay and offers visitors an opportunity to explore one of Koh Tao’s smaller, rugged and exquisite bays.🏖️

The bay itself is accessible by a steep, concrete road and it takes around 15 minutes to drive there from Mae Haad pier, by scooter or a taxi transfer.👍

Lang Khai bay is also accessible by boat, which may be a better choice if you want to get straight into the water.🤽‍♂️

Adopt A Coral is an ongoing coral restoration project where coral transplants can be adopted and named at Junkyard Reef artificial dive site on Koh Tao.🪸

Once adopted, the corals are removed from the nursery then transplanted into one of the many different artificial structures where they can thrive.🐚

The Adopt A Coral data is collected every 3 months to show growth, colour and improvement. It is a slow progression but in time, the structures themselves should become self-reliant and sustainable.😍

Mango Bay is located on the remote north coast of Koh Tao and is approximately a 30-minute drive from Mae Haad pier in a 4 x 4 pick up.

The road to Mango Bay is concrete until you reach just past Jim’s bar, which is high in the hills of the north coast of Koh Tao.

After this, the road reduces to a steep, dirt track with lots of loose stones and water gullies on it and it is difficult for scooter riders to negotiate.

If it has been raining this mud track is virtually impassable on a scooter and only 4 x 4 pick up trucks will be able to get through safely.

Sun Suwan 360 Viewpoint is located near the John Suwan Viewpoint in the south of Koh Tao and is easier to access than its neighbours.

Offering an almost identical view, it provides visitors to Koh Tao with a place to get food and drink while you take in the incredible views across the island.

This location is better known as Sun Suwan 360 Bar and is accessed off the road to Freedom Beach, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from Mae Haad pier.

The best beach will depend on your preference for a beach that has more people sharing it with you or a more secluded beach in a remote outlying bay.🌴

Fraggle Rock viewpoint can be found in the centre of the island in the hills above Sairee beach. The path is uphill all the way and begins by the 7-11 at the crossroads in Sairee.🌴

You walk away from the beach towards Hin Wong, past Asia divers, Gym & Fitness and follow the same road that leads towards Mango Bay.✔

Once you reach the signpost for Mango Bay viewpoint you need to walk a few metres further to find the trail for Fraggle Rock on the right.💥

Tanote Bay is located on the east side of the island, between Ao Leuk Bay and Laem Thian Cape.🌴

The best way to reach the bay is via taxi-boat or motorbike. The route from Mae Haad takes you over the central mountain on Koh Tao, offering spectacular views of the East coast, and will take around 15 minutes.💥

The path down to the bay is steep, so it’s probably not ideal for beginners who are not used to riding scooters.✔

It may be that you completed your Open Water course years ago or have not been diving for quite a while and want a quick reminder of the important essentials.✔

If you have not been diving for a long time and jump straight in, then there is a good chance you will waste the whole dive trying to remember what to do, in addition to there being an increased risk to your safety.👍

A scuba review will provide you with a perfect opportunity to go through the basic theory, water skills and practice it with a professional Divemaster or a Diving Instructor.💥

A Scuba review can be completed in a morning or an afternoon within 1-2 hours and will enable you to join the afternoon or next morning dive boat to go fun diving.😍

Nang Yuan Terrace is in the north east corner of Koh Tao. To access it you need to drive or walk towards Dusit Buncha Resort, which is a 10-minute drive heading north from Sairee beach.🙏

Once you arrive at the stunning resort you can park your vehicle and then visit the restaurant. You need to pass through or around the restaurant to reach the stairs that lead down to the water.✔

A little-known spot to watch the sunset, it provides a spectacular view of Koh Nang Yuan with the sun setting on the horizon beside it.🌴

June Juea beach is located on the north side of June Juea Bay, which is in the Southwest corner of Koh Tao.🌴

A remote beach, it can be accessed by the same route as Sai Nuan beach or by a 20-minute walk from Chalok Baan Kao bay and Saan Jao beach.⛱

The beach is made up of several broken patches of sand and there are plenty of places to find shade.😍

The waters are turquoise, clear and ideal for swimming and the rocks off the coast provide a good area for snorkeling.😎

Lighthouse bay is located on the Northeast side of the island and is a 15 minute longtail ride from Mango Bay.🌴

There is no road access to the bay, although you can go by car from Mae Haad as far as a partially built resort, which is approximately 200 metres from the sea, in around 20 minutes.👍

From the resort you then need to climb down a steep, rocky path to reach the bay.👀👌
