Sai Daeng beach is located on the south coast of Koh Tao, about a 15 minute drive from Mae Haad and it offers a picture perfect beach to visitors.✔️

Once you reach Sai Daeng, you will discover a small white sandy beach with clear, warm water and a shoreline bordered with palm trees, which provide shade when you need a break from the hot sun.😍

The beach is clean and peaceful with spectacular views and is also the closest one to Shark Island. Although popular, Sai Daeng is much quieter than many of the other beaches on Koh Tao.

As Koh Tao is such a small island, it is essential there are land based conservation initiatives in place to maintain the natural beauty of the landscape.

Although the resident local population is small, visitor numbers who travel to the island are high, so the local community has developed a range of land based conservation efforts.

There are land and beach clean ups organised by Black Turtle Conservation, Eco Koh Tao, local volunteers, businesses and dive centres. You will find an event happening virtually every day that you can join, in making a difference in conservation.

Lang Khai bay is one of those locations that is off the beaten track and quite often overlooked by tourists. ✔️

It provides visitors with a day of exploration and adventure and is a perfect location for photo opportunities.📸

On a beautiful sunny day, visitors can easily hike or use scooters to experience all three bays in this area of the island and visit Tanote bay, Lang Khai bay and Aow Leuk bay.😍

One of the more secluded beaches on the island, Freedom beach is quiet and private.✔️

It sits over the water in the eastern corner, which houses a cheap, local restaurant.🍽️

Despite this, it is well known amongst travellers and has a super cosy vibe that makes it one of the most popular small beaches on Koh Tao, so it can get busy in the afternoon.🌴
