🏛️We never planned to attend a wedding in Bangkok.
But somehow, during an ordinary day in the city, we stumbled upon a Chinese wedding inside a 19th-century Catholic cathedral.
Visitors were welcome to quietly watch the ceremony — and were even offered lunch to enjoy in the church garden.
It was such an unexpected chance to experience another culture, celebrate with the newlyweds, and simply be present for a moment that wasn’t meant for us… but that we were warmly allowed to witness.
And sitting there in the garden, we couldn’t help thinking: how wonderfully unpredictable life can be.
This is one of the reasons we love traveling — you never know what you’ll discover when you leave room for the unexpected.
