What an amazing trip! A Must do!
We were in a bind and didn’t know where to go…and we found this trip on Booking.com and it has been one pleasant surprise after another, I am so glad that we booked it.
The guide - Ziad was a treasure, he knows so much history, facts, and he has all the time for questions and discussions. His knowledge was unbelievable. He was able to comment on the psycho-socio aspects of many issues. He was very caring and kind and just genuinely great guide! Highly recommend!
Our driver - Khemais was very steady, professional, and patient, we felt very safe with him.
The Manager - Salem, he was behind all the organising, biggest thanks to him for choosing the BEST hotels (they all have bathtubs, and luxurious). The places Salem took us to for lunch were genuine local experience and delicious! The sites he chose for the program were exquisite, and so well organised!
We love the tour of Carthage and the museums! We initially thought that the Carthage Roman ruins were impressive, until we went to Bella Regis, wow! Then we went to Dougga, even bigger WOW! Then the amphitheater in El Jem really took our breath away! The “Grand Canyon”, the Oasis in Chebika, the salt lake, the Star Wars movie set, the Berber house and the Berber hotel were a great touch! We would have never experienced any of these if we didn’t go with this group! It was great fun! I learnt so much. I enjoyed every minute of it, especially sitting at a cafe that the locals go to, and people watching, we were never once bored! Highly recommend this tour! It will be the best experience of your travels! :)
