🎉 Congratulations to Eduarda Neves from Portugal Travel Team, who takes over as our President! Eduarda succeeds Rajeev Kohli, who has completed his term. We’re delighted that Rajeev will remain on the board as Immediate Past President.

The event theme and design for our annual IBTM client event is created at our annual euromic academy. The euromic academy is where our bright new young talent and leadership converge for 3 days every year to learn, connect, engage and share best practice. This year our creative bunch of young leaders did not disappoint - A galaxy themed star event, where you get to meet a universe of euromic DMCS up in the sky, in a venue fit for only stars. A massive thankyou also to the team at Spanish Heritage DMC who make it all a reality.

This year is also extra special as we have a very special sparkly prize for one of our lucky attendees, a real tanzanite gemstone sponsored by Green Inspirations-DMC, Tanzania - euromic Kenya Tanzania. Can’t wait it’s going to be out of this world.

🤖 Künstliche Intelligenz im Tourismus 🇹🇳

🤝 Im Rahmen der Kammer- und Verbandspartnerschaft (KVP) des DRV mit dem tunesischen Schwesterverband Fédération Tunisienne des Agences de Voyages et de Tourisme (FTAV), fand kürzlich ein Schulungsworkshop zum Thema KI im Tourismus in Hammamet und auf Djerba statt.

🚀 Die zwei Workshops, geleitet von Experten Günter Exel, stießen auf großes Interesse: Vertreter tunesischer Reiseveranstalter erhielten dabei fundierte Einblicke in die neuesten Trends und Entwicklungen rund um Künstliche Intelligenz im Tourismus.

👏 Nach einer theoretischen Einführung folgten praktische Übungen, bei denen die Teilnehmenden KI-Chatbots, personalisierte Tools und KI-Bildergeneratoren testeten und erste Anwendungen umsetzen konnten.

🙏 Der Workshop ist Teil einer Reihe von Initiativen, die darauf abzielen, das touristische Angebot in Tunesien zu diversifizieren, professionell zu vermarkten und nachhaltig aufzustellen.
