Liberty Sculpture by The Inkman

March 20 is Independence Day in Tunisia, marking the country’s liberation from French colonial rule in 1956. It is one of the most important national holidays, commemorating Tunisia’s transition to sovereignty after 75 years as a French protectorate.

The Liberty sculpture is permanently situated on the Habib Bourguiba grand avenue by the historic Hotel Carlton.
