FTI Touristik GmbH Insolvency FAQ's
FTI TOURISTIK GMBH INSOLVENCY FAQ'S
Updated 6th June – Overview
FTI
FTI Touristik GmbH, as the third largest tour operator in Europe, filed an application for insolvency on Monday, 3 June 2024. It is important to mention that this is only applicable to the tour operator brand ‘FTI Touristik’.
Youtravel.com, MP Hotels and all the Meeting Point DMC’s act as their own entity, are not insolvent and are working actively on their future.
MP Hotels
MP Hotels did not file for insolvency. We have communication that all brands under the MP Hotels umbrella continue to operate as normal in all destinations (Canary Islands, Morocco, Malta, Italy, Croatia and Greece to Turkey, and Egypt) Although there are some small issues with cancellations and in resort payments being requested-We are working with our MPH counter parts to resolve this.
This includes LABRANDA Hotels & Resorts, Design Plus Hotels, Kairaba Hotels & Resorts, Lemon & Soul Hotels and Meeting Point Managed Hotels.
Meeting Point DMC’s
The situation varies in each destination. Many DMCs still remain operational.
So far, Only Meeting Point North America has officially closed.
Youtravel.com
Youtravel is not insolvent, we have initiated cancellation periods whilst we secure our future without the support of FTI.
