Hi all, an update on the booking schedule still sees a little availability; do let me know if you would like to make a booking before they all go!! For a few years I have not insisted on Saturday to Saturday bookings like most others and you have sensibly taken advantage of this to secure the more attractive air fares available outside weekends and this together with the amazing number of carriers now coming in to Dalaman also improving prices, the cost of holidays here has come down significantly!! Unlike my grocery bill🥲

Villa Santi has long enjoyed tremendous support from those who have stayed before and many of you have already booked for the 2025 season! In order to continue however a small but steady stream of newcomers is required and, with the demise of TripAdvisor, I have finally found a site which looks like it can step in to the breech!!

Bookings for 2025 are off to a good start with August already filled up. I guess the lovely sub-zero temperatures we are experiencing at the moment are encouraging bookings!!

Easter is still available as are the wonderful weather months (for those who like the temperature reasonable) of May, June, September, and October.

A successful summer and the sun shone right through to our last guest leaving in the middle of October with temperatures still in the high twenties. Happily, all our guests reported happiness with the villa though with all but one of our guests this year having stayed previously this was perhaps not surpising. Particularly appreciated were YouTube on the new digital TV and the welcome packs everyone received!

We have previously used TripAdvisor to advertise the villas however this yielded just one letting this year and - to our surprise, and that of a number of guests who had booked without my knowledge for next year - they closed to business from 31st October, refunding guests deposits thankfully. Still sorting that out with one down and two to go!!

A late season visit was used to refresh memories of the Saklikent Canyon which proved a rather greater challenge than it was 10 years ago but loved it, such an amazing piece of nature! Gave Cadianda a miss this time but managed all the regular stuff like the fish market, Mustafa's Cadianda Restaurant, boat trip to Gocek, cheap footy shirts and an excellent Chinese banquet in Hisaranu etc etc. I never tire of them all😁

For 2025 I already have firm bookings with deposits from 16th July until 24th August. Bookings welcome anytime outside those dates, we are open from Easter until the end of October.

Rates are unchanged for 2025 and are as set out in the table below. A 10% discount is applied to the bookings of returning guests.

My pre-season visit in May was mostly getting the Villa Santi into great shape, though with some time for enjoyment!

My efforts included replacing the clock/thermometer brought from the UK. As you can see it was unseasonably hot at 33 centigrade!!

The villa schedule is just about full through to the middle of October except for 10 days at the start of July and a fortnight from the second of September.

Leaving for the Villas on Tuesday for a week of relaxation and perhaps a little painting at the lovely Villa Santi - and making sure everything is ready for the season.

The games etc were looking a little tired last time we were there so I'll be bringing new items for those long summer evenings, Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga, 2 new sets of darts and playing cards.

With our second group of the season arriving today and taking both villas, we are now pretty full for the season with the only remaining availability being between July14 and July 27. Do act quickly if you would like to spend any of that time in arguably the nicest villa in the village of Uzumlu, and certainly the one with the finest views over the Uzumlu plain and the mountains beyond!

Hi all, after a slow start, bookings have warmed up a lot! There are however still opportunities for enjoying Villa Santi, and Villa Toshack also if you have a larger party. Villa Toshack can only be rented out in combination with Villa Toshack, the two are on the same walled plot of land and particularly popular with larger friends and family parties of up to 18.

Regarding those opportunities, before 19th June is available; May and June are just wonderful times of the year when the weather is glorious but without the potentially furnace like heat of July and August while, remarkably, the absolute peak season period from 15th July to 19th August is still available for sun lovers. Those dates are not going to be available for long so it would be best not to hesitate!! After that the next possibility is after the 25th September through to the end of October; once again a wonderful time of year.

Just to confirm that we are all alive and well and in England! Our place in Uzumlu is more than a thousand miles away from the tragedy unfolding in the other side of the country. May God bless them all.
