Dear Colleagues,

The ESEE is a biennial event that is organized in rotation by European countries for training and research in the purpose of communication for agricultural and rural extension. As it known, the first seminar was organized in Finland 40 years ago. 21st ESEE between September 2 to 6, 2013 in Antalya, Turkey. The main purpose of this seminar traditionally is to share the ideas and

practices of the participants on participatory approach to agricultural extension works. As usual this year we will see and listen the best practice in extension between public and private extension services around the world starting from Europe. We have the possibilities to discuss and argue and to adopt them in other countries, and to meet good friends during years. During these passed years we are the Extension Educators, Scientists and have met all around. The issue, "train trainers to train" is the same but the world around has changed. As it known, we need food, and the farmers are still providing the material for safety food as well as they are most responsible of security of food. We, the extension educators are finding the innovations for new and less time consuming and easier work for agriculture. We will be happy to welcome you in Antalya, hope to see you in sunny Antalya. Previous Seminars
The first European Seminar was held in 1973 in Finland, when European agriculture was transforming from a traditional practical activity to an industry of managed businesses, and Extension Services were changing from practice based on experience to professional consultation based on communication theories. The seminar gave an opportunity to exchange ideas and experience among university staff and private and professional personnel concerned with Extension Education. During the 40 years of the Seminar history, the seminars have continued each other year, in different host countries. The last ESEE was organized in Helsinki in 2011.

Dear Colleagues,

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected academic activities as well as affecting every field. For this reason, we held the Rural Tourism and Development Congress online last year. But this year, we have decided to organize as HYBRID CONGRESS (www.irtad.gen.tr).
According to this the 5th International Rural Tourism and Development Congress (IRTAD) and the 10th National Rural Tourism Congress will be held in Antalya, Turkey, in October 29-31, 2021. The congress will be organized in a HYBRID format, allowing attendees to interact both virtually and physically. This event is co-organized by Akdeniz University, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, the Tetova University, and Parakou University. Academics, professors, and students conducting studies in the fields of tourism, agriculture, environment, gastronomy, and economics are welcome to apply to IRTAD.
I would like point out that the aim of IRTAD 2021 is to put together academics and researchers working in tourism, industry, and economics in order to foster science exchange and debate, as well as to meet and engage with members of the academic community.
The abstracts and full articles presented at the congresses will be published in the abstract books and proceedings (in English for the International Congress and in Turkish for the National Congress). If the authors submit it, the study can be published as an article in the International Rural Tourism and Development Journal (http://www.turizmvekalkinma.org ), following appropriate scientific assessments. Presentations are available in both Turkish and English.
IRTAD 2021 will be able to accomplish its objectives as a result of your significant scientists' support, and participation. We look forward to seeing you on October 29th, 2021, whether online or in person.

Dear Colleagues,

Our conference organizing committee just decided to switch our physical conference to online. It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to participate in the 4th International Rural Tourism and Development Congress ( www.irtad.gen.tr ) ” which will be held in ONLINE presentations on November 13-15, organized by Akdeniz University and Universtiy of Tetova.

Rural Tourism is already an important part of the European tourism sector. But many assets and resources for recreation in rural areas are yet not used, or remain undetected. IRTAD-2020 is organised around the major theme of rural tourism. Additionally, it aims to provide an opportunity for researchers to answer some of the challenges in the development of tourism, and to outline new solutions for developing it. The main theme includes interrelated issues, each of them calling for a variety of disciplinary approaches.

The Conference will be divided into substantive sessions, providing the opportunity to focus on specific areas from their own prospective and national experiences.

The Conference aims to bring together academic scientists, researchers, research scholars and professionals, in order to exchange and share their experiences and research results related to the aspects of tourism.

The Conference will be a great opportunity for academics from a range of disciplines and countries to share their research; to receive informal in-depth feedback through discussions and to establish contact with professionals in other countries and institutions

So, we invite you to contribute with papers and presentations, in the International Rural Tourism and Development Congress.

In addition to our conference scientific sessions, we would like to invite you to visit Antalya, Turkey and see various tourism phenomena and rich natural heritage and cultural monuments.
