From 5–9 October 2026, Belek will host one of the world's most prestigious space events the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026).

Chosen as the congress mascot, the Caretta Caretta symbolizes exploration, resilience, and sustainability through its remarkable journey across thousands of kilometres much like humanity's own journey into space.
