Likyalı the Lycian Guided walking, hiking , trekking, trails, the Lycian Way. Born and raised in the city of Izmir. He has been living in Fethiye since 2008.

He started camping and hiking in high school years when no equipment was readily available by manufacturing his own tents and backpacks. First time he visited the Fethiye area trails in 1980s, later in recent years he got involved in opening old lost trails. He maintained trails and worked in projects like the Fethiye Alternative Walking Trails sponsored by the Fethiye Chamber of Commerce. He is a

member of the Culture Routes Society (Kültür Rotaları Derneği, www.cultureroutesinturkey.com) and actively involved in the maintenance of the Lycian Way and other alternative trails. He enjoys guiding walks on those trails and sharing his knowledge of flora and fauna of the Mediterranean. For many years, he lived in the United States where he started to learn Native American tracking and survival skills from Tom Brown Jr. who is the founder of the Tracker School in New Jersey. He is also a musician playing the Turkish reed flute called “Ney”. He performed concerts in the Boston area with several fine musicians including his teachers Frederick Stubbs, Robert Labaree and Beth Cohen. He has an associate’s degree of Computer Technology from Bosphorus University. He believes in sustainable living close to nature, the Mother Earth. Vaccines might be the most successful marketing campaign in medical history.

Much of the public discourse around vaccines remains fixated on whether individuals “believe in them” or not.

But this framework is distracting us from a more fundamental question: Why are we using pharmaceutical interventions for something that has not been proven to exist in the way we've been taught?

Once you begin to critically evaluate the foundational assumptions about disease, specifically the germ theory and the mechanisms of viral contagion, the rationale for vaccination begins to unravel.

If the premise of contagion is scientifically unproven, then the entire justification for prophylactic pharmaceuticals like vaccines deserves scrutiny.

Rather than debating efficacy or safety, the more meaningful inquiry is about necessity.
Do we truly need vaccines at all if the biological threat they are designed to prevent is based on an unverified model of disease?

In essence, create a problem, sell the solution. It is time to move the conversation from belief to biological evidence and from reaction to deep critical thinking.

Türkiye'nin uluslararası standartlarda ilk işaretlenmiş uzun mesafeli kültür rotası olan ve Kate Clow tarafından projelendirilen Likya Yolu'nun geçmişi, bugünü, rota etapları, sorunlarını ele alınıp, güzergah üzerindeki emekçiler ve ilgililerle konuştuk.

Tescil edilmediği ve sahip çıkılmadığı sürece bütünselliği kaybolacak ve gelecek yıllara sadece belli bölümleri kalacak olan Likya Yolu ve diğer kültür rotalarına sahip çıkmamız ve korumamız gerekiyor.

Önümüzdeki en önemli sorun, Likya Yolu üzerinden de geçecek olan Finike-Demre-Kaş-Kalkan otoyol projesidir.

Ülkemizdeki tüm kültür rotalarının artık kamuya mal olmuş birer somut kültürel miras ve kıymetli turizm destinasyonları olduğunu lütfen unutmayalım.
