Bosphorus Tour With Breakfast in Istanbul
With Daraz travel
The quickest and most convenient way to visit this city during your stay in Istanbul is to take a short two-hour tour of the Bosphorus. Thanks to the Bosphorus Tour, you will be able to see many of Istanbul’s historical and natural beauties up close. Our Bosphorus tour, which we organise twice a day, is at your disposal with our professional tour guide. With two different tours, morning and evening, we make sure that you can visit the Bosphorus during the day or enjoy a nice sunset on the Bosphorus. On both tours, we will pick you up at your hotels with our shuttle vehicles and take you to our boat, and at the end of the tour we will drop you back at your hotels.
WHAT WİLL YOU SEE ON THE BOSPHORUS TOUR?
The Galata Bridge: This is a bridge over the Golden Horn that connects the districts of Eminönü and Karaköy and crosses a tram line.
Galata Tower: A 67-meter high watchtower built by the Genoese in 1267 within the boundaries of present-day Beyoğlu.
Dolmabahçe Palace: An extravagant and magnificent palace built in 1856 by the Ottoman Empire within the boundaries of today’s Beşiktaş district, right by the sea.
Çırağan Palace: An Ottoman-era palace between Beşiktaş and Ortaköy, which today functions as a hotel of the same name right next door.
Ortaköy Mosque: Built by Nigoğos Balyan in the 1850s for the then Ottoman sultan. This mosque, with its baroque architectural features, is a coastal mosque.
Anadolu and Rumeli Fortress: These are two fortresses located on both continents, directly opposite each other. One was built during the Byzantine period, the other directly opposite when Sultan Mehmet conquered Istanbul.
Kuleli Military College: This was a military school where qualified and famous officers of the Ottoman state and the Turkish Republic were trained for years. Today, unfortunately, the school is no longer in use, but serves as a museum.
Beylerbeyi Palace: A mansion built by the architect Sarkis Balyan and commissioned by the then Ottoman Sultan Abdulaziz between 1861 and 1865.
Bosphorus Maiden’s Tower: The tower is a remnant of the Byzantine era and is located in the middle of the sea on the parts of the Bosphorus that are close to the Sea of Marmara. Although there are various rumours about it, today it is used as a restaurant.
Among other things, you will also be able to see many important structures of the historical peninsula, such as the Topkapı Palace, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It is also ideal to satisfy your curiosity with a professional guide.
