On the 4th of January 2021 a new tramway line that runs the length of the Golden Horn opened. For now the new T5 line starts at Cibali, but will eventually begin at Eminönü. It's that time of the year again! Every year, Tuz Gölü, a salt lake, and Turkey's second-biggest lake, turns pink due to the algae blooming.

Türkiye'nin ikinci büyük gölü olan Tuz Gölü, suyun içinde yaşayan algler ve bakteriler nedeniyle pembe renk aldı. Göl, salgın nedeniyle bu yıl yerli ve yabancı turistlerin ziyaretinden mahrum kaldı.
