A truly hassle free tour

I was fortunate enough to be the only person on the tour, so it was great being just able to absorb the wealth of information from Apo. He was very knowledgeable about the Gallipoli campaign and WWI in general, both from the Turkish and Allied's perspective. I particularly enjoyed the collection of photos that Apo had that were pertinent to the campaign, which added a finer touch to the whole tour. Each place we visited had a history behind it and it was great being able to walk the trails of those that fought in the campaign. Because we had some extra time, we were able to see a few more areas not on the schedule, which was a very pleasant addition. The area around Anzac cove is very tranquil now, so it is quite difficult to imagine the bloodbath that occurred here a century ago. Thank you for a great tour.
