Angels Aymar was in Istanbul this month! Thanks for staying

Oyun yazarı, oyuncu ve yönetmen Angels Aymar, Barselona’da Istitut del Teatre’de Sahne Sanatları Bölümü’nden mezun olmuştur. Değişik dillere çevrilen, sahnelenen ve ödüller alan yirminin üzerinde oyun yazmıştır. 1992 yılında Philadelphia’da The Wilma Theater ile yaptığı işbirliğinden dolayı Katalan hükümeti tarafından verilen ödüle sahip oldu. 2006 –2009 yılları arasında Trueta ve La Indiana isimli oyunlarıyla Teatre Nacional de Catalunya’da konuk yazar olarak yer aldı. 2008 yılında Pen World Voices Festivali’ne davet edilen ilk Katalan oyun yazarı oldu ve “Out of the Blue” isimli oyunu sahnelendi. 2010 yılında Prelude Festivali kapsamında “Solavaya” isimli oyunu Repertorio Espanol tiyatrosunda sahnelendi. 2013 yılında Festival Grec’te “100FEMMES” adlı oyunu sahnelendi ve oyun Hollanda, Güney Kore gibi dünyanın değişik ülkelerinde turneler yapmaya devam etmektedir. 2015 yılında “Hearts Beating Like Drums” isimli oyununu New York’ta “Wild Project Theatre”da yönetmiştir
