⚽🏛️ When Football Meets History...

When the World Cup kicked off, nobody expected it to shine a spotlight on our little corner of the Turquoise Coast for millions of people around the world.

But when Türkiye reached the group stages for the first time in 24 years, the country embraced the moment in true Turkish style – go big or go home!

To celebrate the occasion, the municipality chose one of Kaş' most breathtaking landmarks as the backdrop: the ancient amphitheatre of Antiphellos.

With its stunning sea views, centuries of history and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else, this iconic setting became the perfect place to mark a proud moment for the nation.

It's not every day that football, history and the Mediterranean come together quite so beautifully. 🇹🇷❤️ With tomorrow seeing Türkiye and Paraguay kick off at 6am local time we are fully expecting to see more beautiful images of our wonderful coastline making the memory books for people all over the region ❤️

Have you visited the Antiphellos Amphitheatre? Maybe give it a whirl and soak up the atmosphere!
