If you want a good deal, its always best to book your flights early! We have had some guests that leave their flights too late and it becomes sooo expensive 😒💰

Also if you wish for us to book your transfers for you with the lovely transfer company we use, let us know your flight details as he gets booked up. 🚐💨

A note to all our guests booked this year.
I know some people have been a little concerned about the war in Syria and how that may affect their holiday to Kalkan. Understandably the threat of being caught up in this war or terrorist acts is a concern, but I can assure you that we have looked into what the UK government and FCDO are recommending for travel, and the only area they have advised against all travel is 10km from the Türkiye - Syria border, which is unchanged and has been the case for many years now.
Kalkan is situated 1300km from the restricted area and is not seen as a place of risk for terrorism (or at least no greater risk than the UK or any major cities)
IF anything was to change with restrictions from the FCDO with regards to Kalkan or Mûgla region, we would contact you to advise we cancel and move your holiday. You would be able to claim any airfares or money paid for accommodation with your travel insurance company if this was to happen, providing you have insurance in place BEFORE the restrictions
We are always here if you have any questions, but I hope this reassures you.

It genuinely makes us feel so much joy knowing that our lovely home has enhanced someones holiday. As always our thanks go to our amazing management team 🙏

"Well it’s hard to find the right superlatives, but ‘fAbuLoUs!’ says it emphatically for Villa Lucia! The shimmering rhythm of the lovely pool was at the hub of the gorgeous, light and airy Villa that invited us in to it’s modern and comfortable setting. We were there at the end of May 25. There is an ease about Villa Lucia that seems to smile at you, and welcome you in, to soothe any tired brows and say ‘please enjoy!’ Wow! That view and the beautiful Lycian coast, and the friendly people of Kalkan all made us feel welcome. We had a lovely week and everywhere we ate was enjoyable! There was good food in all. Coriander comes to mind as very special, and Cafe Leon ( we love him) dj’s fabulously with mesmerising skill. Great for my grown up children’s Gen Z vibe! (and me!) yep! there are 5 little 🌟stars above looking after you in Villa Lucia. Thank you Maria and Mark for letting us share your very special home! 🌈🇹🇷☀️x

"Villa Lucia - wow wow wow. A very spacious, bright and clean villa, it has absolutely everything you need to make your holiday stress free and relaxing. The clean, warm pool is amazing with the best views over looking the bay but then also from a different angle, the stunning mountains/hills. The bbq area was perfect for cooking our freshly caught tuna. The bedroom balcony’s face the bay, an upper roof terrace was very pretty with Turkish lights and another breath taking view. Kalkan itself, especially the back streets, is full of roof top restaurants and shops. The residents of Kalkan are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A high light was watching the sunset from a look out point in the hills. A Turkish couple who were already there offered us Turkish tea, a rug to sit on and an offer of a lift back down the hill, truly humbling. We did everything… pool days at the villa involving a takeaway using the very easy ‘villa eat’ app, the same app used to re purchase the villa water bottles and wow, 10 minutes later-it was delivered. We hired our own luxury boat (4 of us) to go around all the bays including the mud bay - this included a beautiful lunch - stunning. We Went up to a village (Bezipan) in the hills to experience a traditional Turkish breakfast made by a family, this was a highlight for us all and a must for people visiting villa lucia. Men enjoyed a successful fishing trip whilst the ladies had a beach day, resulted in us snorkelling and seeing giant turtles, amazing. The local market on a thursday was delightful, Turkish pancakes a must and make sure you buy fresh pistachio Turkish delight (we wish we bought a bigger box!). We visited many restaurants, you will be sploit for choice. We found everything very reasonably priced."

This is our very good friends, Şahin and Fatma. They are not only our good friends, they are like our family 💜
Şahin and Fatma also manage Villa Lucia Kalkan and work so hard to keep Lucia to the high standard we want for our guests. Without Şahin and Fatma, Lucia would not be the exceptional holiday home you expect, and deserve.
This was a wonderful lunch we all enjoyed at Coriander Restaurant yesterday.
Thank you for everything you do for Mark and I, and our guests. We truly appreciate you both 💗💗

It is with utter devastation and saddest that we have to announce our darling Villa tortoise, George, has passed away. Mark and I are beyond words. As all of our guests will know, George was the heart of Villa Lucia.
He will be missed by so many.
We'd love for you to put any memories you have of George on here.
Rest peaceful darling boy 💔

So we just HAD to go back to Sini today to try their Gözleme and Menemen, and it did not disappoint! Mark is on a mission to find the best Menemen in Kalkan and so far it's one of the best!
