"A Perfect Getaway at Apartment Limon, Kalkan!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Apartment Limon in Kalkan. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday.

One of the standout features is the breathtaking view from the terrace and infinity swimming pool - waking up to the sparkling blue sea and enjoying our morning coffee there was a daily highlight. The pool area is peaceful and perfect for cooling off in the afternoons.

The location is ideal - quiet and tranquil, yet just a short walk or quick drive into the heart of Kalkan where you’ll find amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. We particularly appreciated the helpful local tips provided by the hosts - they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations.

Overall, Apartment Limon exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for relaxation, a romantic escape, or a base for exploring the beautiful Turkish coastline, this place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to returning!

🍋 Hello everyone, Apartment Limon Kalkan, rental licence number 07-5726, tuning in following an absolutely blistering Saturday here in the UK and an already extremely warm Sunday morning. How are you all coping?

🍋 Since our return from Kalkan just over a week ago 😢, nothing short of locking myself in a darkened room would have helped me to write this post for you but then I wouldn't have seen what I was doing would I? Hah!
So anyway, here I am tapping away, chilled drinks on tap, a choccie or two within reach just in case my sugar levels drop due to the heat of course and here we go, no overthinking, but just going with the flow and saying it just as it is 😉

🍋 We spent two fabulous weeks at Limon experiencing glorious mediterranean sun-filled days from dawn till dusk and it felt like July had come early. Still, lots of sunscreen and unquantifiable swims in the stunning infinity pool at Limon to cool off however and we coped. Well you have to don't you. 😉 We met-up with our good friends Edna, Graham, Anita and Geoff. How good it was to see you all and catch up on all the news as we all enjoyed a wonderful al fresco lunch at the much loved Fenner/ Lighthouse Restaurant between Kalkan beach and the harbour. Thank you Janine and Paul for your continued support with all things technical, helping us upgrade our firestick at Limon. 🤗 Helen, you're amazing, you look so well, happy and so tanned as usual and it was fab to see you again. Sadly we didn't get to meet up with Jackie as arranged but hopefully next time. 🤞Thanks to Susie and Steve for the hours of fun and laughter we had around the pool. Noodles, snorkels, hair dryers, coke zero, cashew nuts and all. We know what I mean 😂😉. Last but not least, a huge thank you to our new Turkish friends, with whom we indulged in the sharing of some delicious food plus a little fun in between and a lost necklace found and last but not least, a special mention to our Begonvil neighbours, Elaine and Steve too with whom we discovered so much about Limon and our location in general over an iced coffee at Merkez when most of Kalkan seemed to be having a siesta in the heat of the day.Thank you all! There's a first time for everything and isn't that what life is all about folks?

It's a peaceful, sultry Sunday afternoon here at Apartment Limon Kalkan. Two hours ahead of UK time, it's been a morning full of swims, sunshine and sunbathing around the south facing infinity pool here at Limon and I'm half way through my second book this holiday interrupted only by the intermittent renditions of George Michael,(😢), and the Pet Shop Boys, two of my favourite artists on my current Spotify playlist. 🎶

An afternoon walk into town is on the cards and a refreshing cool drink at one of the many sublime cafes to adorn Kalkan's shores but before I do I just wanted to update you with some news.......

Welcome to Apartment Limon Kalkan Rental Licence 07-5726, on this fine and beautiful morning. Yet another absolutely blissful day here in Kalkan and the weather is just perfect.🌞😎 What's not too like?

🍋 Many will be choosing to visit one of a number of beach clubs dotted along our shores here on the Turquoise Coast but for us, spending time relaxing poolside by Limon's infinity pool with not a soul in sight, is sheer bliss, interrupted only by the sound of Cicadas, (cricket-like insects), filling the balmy air and, as if like clockwork, the call to prayer regularly resonates across the sultry Kalkan skyline. We love everything about Limon and of course Kalkan.

🍋 Just one week into our stay and we're feeling good, with local, familiar faces, having greeted us like old friends and we have made a number of new ones too! The daily "where shall we eat tonight" comment has become more and more familiar as each day goes by with there being so many options to choose from to suit all tastes and budgets and with live music 🎶 various nights of the week on offer at a number of bars and restaurants too, it is really good to see people enjoying themselves and the local dogs and cats, of which there are still many about, receiving heaps of attention and so they should for they are a part of Kalkan moreso than the rest of us.

🍋 Here at Limon, we are excited to say, we have guests staying with us this season and next who have never visited Kalkan before. A visit to Kalkan is a never to be forgotten experience and I kid you not, you will be back!

🍋 Immaculate, modern, spacious accommodation with superb fixtures and fittings and excellent Wifi throughout. Almost a villa but not quite, we the owners, continue to offer exceptionally competitive rates starting from £800 per week accommodating as few as 2 people, (we have had two people stay many times especially suited to those who like their space), up to a maximum of 6.
🍋 Three extremely spacious bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people, 1 king, 1 double & 1 twin size, (which can be made up as a king size if preferred), with 4 bathrooms, (2 en-suite, 1 adjacent to the twin bedroom, and 1 cloakroom on the first floor). Comfortable beds dressed in freshly laundered crisp white linen laden with fluffy, White towels ready for your arrival. All towels are provided, including beach towels, for use during your stay
🍋 All bedrooms have ample storage space plus each have individual hair dryers freeing up your luggage space.
🍋 First floor living area with open plan kitchen/diner; with Smart tv and front wrap-around balcony with spectacular sea/town views affording a beautiful spot to chill with a sundowner and relax whilst taking in the incredible views

Having just returned from a 10 night stay at “LIMON”
We have been Truly Spoilt ❤️ So much to say about this amazing place but would mean I'd be writing a book but will keep it short.

From booking this Gorgeous home , all communication with Linda has been excellent.
Every question I asked was immediately answered, Advice Recommendations were gratefully received.

Now to this Apartment-LIMON
This doesn’t feel like an apartment but a Beautiful House filled with Love.
On Entering LIMON and finding that View , WOW …
I will miss waking up to that each morning .
My husband and I were very Lucky as it was only the 2 of us , so we had more space than needed but we took it all in and loved it .
(Amazing space for group of 6 ).
You do not want for absolutely anything here , everything and everyone is catered for .
It’s a home from home & PERFECT in everyway .

The pool is Wonderful to swim and cool off in , only shared by 3 other apartments but more often than not, we had the infinity pool to our selves and our own sunbeds which is a massive plus.

KALKAN Town , We love you .
Beautiful restaurants, Bars & shops , also amazing boat trip on Therapy. Service in all areas was impeccable, the Turkish people cannot do enough for you , we haven’t quite experienced anything like it .

Immaculate, home from home comforts, management support if needed and all those little extras make it so...towels; beach towels; tea towels, dishwasher tablets; kitchen dish cloths; toilet rolls; tissues; a hairdryer in each bedroom and of course our welcome pack consisting of milk, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, orange juice, bread and 19 L's of water in situ on the water cooler all ready to go. A great start to anyone's holiday after a long journey......

🍋 Good morning and welcome to our page ladies and gentlemen here at the beautiful Apartment Limon Kalkan, (Rental Licence 07-5726), following what was an unexpected temperature - infused, corker of a Sunday here in the UK and I have to say, I'm feeling pretty good folks having just returned from spending a fabulous two weeks in Kalkan.

🍋 Spending two sun-kissed relaxing weeks at Limon has been like taking a tonic in a bottle without needing a prescription. Guaranteed to rejuvenate the mind, body and soul in what can only be described as the perfect answer to total relaxation without the Hamman, (but Hammams are plentiful in town for those that want it). With Limon's peaceful location and quiet ambience, you are guaranteed to have an undisturbed night's sleep 😴 💤 just as we did throughout our stay. Limon is an extremely comfortable home from home with all the added facilities you would expect such as WIFI; TV Firestick; south facing infinity pool with a spacious sunbathing terrace which captures all day sunshine; glorious sunsets and the most amazing views.

🍋 At Limon, time stands still allowing you time to chill and do as the moment takes you. By day, a short walk into town takes you to the epicentre of everything Kalkan from its superb restaurants; welcoming bars and cafes and its harbour lined with boats set to take you on a trip or two maybe and taxi boats waiting to transport you to one of the many beach clubs located around the bay should you wish to indulge in something a little bit different. You can amble amongst the cobbled streets of old town where you can indulge in a little retail therapy; a coffee or cold drink to quench your thirst as Kalkan takes on a sultry ambience in the heat of the day.

At night, Kalkan takes on another role as it literally "comes alive" as the sound of excitement and the buzz of mixed conversations and laughter fill the nightly air. Restaurants seek to draw you in offering you a fabulous dining experience of which there are many on offer. You might then choose to walk off your meal by casually sauntering amongst its shops;cafes, bars and cocktail bars allowing you time to decide which one to choose to spend your evening in with many offering live entertainment nights as the season progresses.

LIMON APARTMENT - PROPERTY OVERVIEW

🍋 Immaculate, modern, spacious accommodation with superb fixtures and fittings and excellent Wifi throughout. Almost a villa but not quite, we the owners, continue to offer exceptionally competitive rates starting from £800 per week accommodating as few as 2 people, (we have had two people stay many times especially suited to those who like their space), up to a maximum of 6.
🍋 Three extremely spacious bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people, 1 king, 1 double & 1 twin size, (which can be made up as a king sze if preferred), with 4 bathrooms, (2 en-suite, 1 adjacent to the twin bedroom, and 1 cloakroom on the first floor). Comfortable beds dressed in freshly laundered crisp white linen laden with fluffy, White towels ready for your arrival. All towels are provided, including beach towels, for use during your stay
🍋 All bedrooms have ample storage space plus each have individual hair dryers freeing up your luggage space.
🍋 First floor living area with open plan kitchen/diner; with Smart tv and front wrap-around balcony with spectacular sea/town views affording a beautiful spot to chill with a sundowner and relax whilst taking in the incredible views
🍋 Air conditioning throughout and travertine flooring to help keep you cool. The air conditioning system also throws out warm air on those not too warm days depending on the time of year
🍋 All bedrooms are located on the ground floor and each have their own direct access to beautifully kept gardens, (thanks to Firat - our outdoor maintenance man who you may see early morning tending to the pool; sweeping/washing everywhere down as well as looking after the gardens), offering a splash of colour throughout the year. There are also two outside dining areas.
🍋 Stunning infinity pool shared with just three apartments on what is a very quiet complex and more often than not you may find you have it all to yourself as confirmed in our reviews
🍋 Peaceful location just a short 7-10 minute stroll into the centre of town, (1 road and 1 footbridge), and a 2 minute taxi ride back, (costing 150TL/£3 -as was the case in March 25)
