🐻🐻🐻For so long, I was on the hunt to see a bear in the wild. I’d been to countless parks and done so many hikes — clapping loudly, obnoxiously singing (per every “how to backpack in bear country” article I ever read), basically doing everything in my power to avoid a bear while secretly hoping to see one. Counterproductive? Absolutely. Safety first? Also yes.

But it wasn’t until I finally made it to Glacier — a place I’d dreamed about for years — that it happened. And wow, did Glacier deliver. Not only did I see my first bear… he stopped me in my tracks on a mountain pass while I was fully exposed on my motorcycle 🤯

During that first visit, I didn’t just see one bear. I saw five (and I’m pretty sure one was watching me from the trees on a hike). But my all‑time favorite? A momma bear with her two cubs bouncing through a meadow of wildflowers. The little ones were tumbling over each other without a care in the world. I was so immersed in the moment that I only snapped a few photos — no videos at all. Some moments are just meant to be lived, not documented.

That’s the kind of trip I love creating for my travelers. Not a wrestle with bear cubs — but a trip where you can just show up, fully immerse yourself in the wonder of the place, and have an absolute blast while doing it.

Glacier’s wildlife is next‑level: huge moose standing in alpine lakes, curious foxes trotting across the trail, bighorn sheep perched on cliffs like they own the place, soaring eagles — the whole wild, magical lineup.
