Welcome to Eden Villas.
Olive Grove, Fig Tree and Banana Valley Villas are three luxurious custom designed villas built with the intention of offering you a peaceful and relaxing holiday with all the modern comforts and amenities that you expect. The villas are located on a tranquil and secluded hillside just outside the Aegean resort town of Marmaris, in south-east Turkey and overlook a quiet wooded valley and offer total privacy and seclusion. The higher altitude of the villas is always a few degrees cooler than downtown Marmaris, which is a welcoming relief after the heat and humid air of the town.
Each villa has an unheated swimming pool (Olive Grove and Fig Tree 10 m x 5 m, 1,4 m deep, Banana Valley 8 m x 4,5 m, 1,3 m deep), a spacious poolside sunbathing patio equipped with recliners and parasols, and outdoor dining facilities.
All the villas have an outdoor, unheated whirlpool bath with magnificent views to the wooded valley.
Inside, all villas offer satellite TV, DVD-player, are fully air-conditioned and have been furnished from locally produced materials wherever possible. Kitchens are fully equipped with oven, hob, 'fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric BBQ (under Turkish law open fires are strictly forbidden next to forests), washing machine, iron and ironing board, kettle, filter coffee maker, cafétiere, toaster, plus crockery and cutlery. All villas have a free wireless internet connection and telephone to receive calls or call locally. Master bedrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and safety deposit box. All beds except sofa beds have a mosquito net; however mosquitoes are scarce on the Villas’ area. Linen and towels are changed twice a week. The accommodation itself is self-catering.
We specialize in tranquil holidays and therefore ask our customers to respect this unwritten rule. During school holiday weeks we might have families with children staying.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
Banana Valley Villa sleeps up to three with one double master bedroom en suite (a large walk-in-shower/wc) and a one-person sofa bed in the lounge with a separate shower/wc in the hall. The whirlpool bath of Banana Valley Villa is located under banana plants and has a wonderful view overlooking the wooded valley.
Fig Tree Villa sleeps up to five with two bedrooms, one double master bedroom en suite (a large walk-in-shower/wc) and one twin (the two single beds can be joined to form a double) plus a one-person sofa bed in the lounge sharing a large walk-in-shower/wc in the hall. Fig Tree Villa is located next to the forest and it is the dead end of our private path, which leads from the parking place and passes Banana Valley Villa.
Olive Grove Villa sleeps up to seven with three bedrooms; one double master bedroom en suite (a large walk-in-shower/wc) and two twins (the two single beds can be joined to form a double) plus a one-person sofa bed in the lounge sharing a shower/wc in the hall. The terrace and sun bathing areas of Olive Grove Villa are larger than these areas of the other Eden Villas. Olive Grove Villa’s outdoor dining area is closable.
All villas are identically furnished and equipped.
The rent includes all utilities, change of linen twice a week and maintenance of pool and garden.
The package includes a welcome pack containing fruit, wine and a light dinner or breakfast, depending on your arrival time.
Our earliest check-in time is 14.00 and check-out time 10.00. However, subject to the arrival time of the next customers we have been flexible with the check-out times.
We can arrange your transfers from Dalaman, Bodrum and Izmir airports at an extra charge. Dalaman is the nearest airport to Marmaris, 90 km and one-and-a-half hour’s drive away. We can arrange transfers at any time of the day.
Directly from above the parking place is a vast network of forestry roads covering the terrain between the villas and Marmaris. There are also other great walking routes leading upwards via Gökbel, following the end of Marmaris valley to the main road nr 400, and ascending from there through the forest to Beldibi valley. Please ask for directions once in the villa.
There is a minibus 'dolmus' service 400 m from the villas that leaves and returns each 60 minutes between 8 am and 8 pm; the six kilometres (about four miles) journey into town takes just a few minutes and is downhill if you'd rather walk. The dolmus costs around 50 cents (2,50 TL) one-way.
A taxi costs around EUR 10 - 13/TL 50 one-way, depending in which part of Marmaris you are going. The drivers can be reached by mobile phone texting.
There are a few restaurants 3 km away in Beldibi and the road is downhill, however, it will be local and basic food. The nearest supermarkets are in Beldibi. The best places to eat, have a drink or go clubbing are in Marmaris centre or harbour front, 6 km away from the villas. The nearest beach is in Marmaris centre and it offers all facilities e.g. several water sport centres, restaurants, bars, cafes etc.. Some of our customers have used the minibus to drive to the town and returned by taxi, some have used a taxi both ways and others have had a rental car during their stay; however drinking and driving is not allowed in Turkey!
