☀️ A week a week to find again your child's soul 🕺

Falling 7 times, stand up 8, This Japanese saying summarises his philosophy of life and approach of yoga. His teaching style is fun and accessible for everyone to allow to students to feel at ease and bring the self-discovery and challenge awareness in their practice. All the elements will be reunited to relax, release and let go…and have fun as well of course.

During this yoga cruise Serge will offer you a guided meditation followed by a more active yoga class in the morning to set your energy in motion. The week will be very progressive in terms of practice and therefore accessible to all levels. The week will start with Hatha practice and how to find the magic in your tadasana, evolving in the basic elements of flow and Vinyasa practice depending of the group.

In the afternoon/evening Serge will take you on a Yin journey. Yin yoga is a powerful yet passive and profound practice.
Slowing down, muscles release & stretches in the deep tissues (fascia), inviting the body to an energy-saving mode.
A Yin practice coupled with Restorative moves will surely ensure an ultimate relaxation and later on a good night sleep.

Styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Hatha flow, Yin
Classes in French, English spoken too. All levels welcome.

Yes! Matt is coming back to the Captain Jack to host a gay yoga cruise for men!

☀️ Matt – The Bearded Naked Yogi is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of hatha yoga and a spiritual philosopher and guide for our modern age.

Born in the United Kingdom and now living in Spain, he has been teaching across the globe since 2016 with a growing worldwide community of students stretching westward from New Zealand to the west coast of the United States.

Matt is passionate that the practice of yoga should not be complicated – he sees yoga as a complete practice of simplicity, honesty and self-understanding. He teaches that the practice of yoga is available to everyone, regardless of flexibility or physical strength, and that even the simplest of movements contain profound benefits for our bodies and our minds.

His classes and retreats are firmly rooted in the ancient traditions of yoga and delivered with his friendly, engaging style of teaching combined with his deep understanding of the human condition.

Students return again and again to experience his teachings of yoga as they should be – simple, honest and delivered with a smile. ☀️

Yeah! we have a yoga cruise in German next year on the Captain Jack.

The sweet Hannah from Austria will be sharing her beautiful teachings.

In February 2014, Hannah traveled to Los Angeles to spend a month doing the first part of her one-year Yoga Alliance certified Modo Yoga training; This was followed by further training: Modo Flow/Vinyasa, Prenatal Yoga, various workshops (Acro Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa...).

In recent years, Hannah has gained teaching practice wherever she had the opportunity: USA, Sweden, the Netherlands and throughout Austria, e.g. at the YogaCollege Vienna, at the Yoga Days in Gastein and Yoga Hiking Weekends in Tyrol/Upper Austria/VBG. Whether in the yoga room, in nature or in conference rooms, the main thing is that she can give her yoga students a little break. They help to strengthen their muscles, improve their posture, alleviate discomfort and go through everyday life a little more relaxed.

Hello sailors,

We are thrilled to Welcome Fernando for his first naked yoga cruise on the Captain Jack.

During this yoga cruise Fernando will offer a power vinyasa naked yoga class in the mornings. Most of the times leading to a peak pose with different approaches depending on the participant’s level.

For the afternoon class he would introduce his naked SYNCRHO method which is based on a series of sequences from the hatha method, each of which follows a pattern of well known yoga poses but connected by a guiding thread of yoga’s basic elements. Synchro yoga is always partnered and lots of fun at the same time. The idea is to find connection and synchronicity with another person.

Styles: Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Synchro/Partner Yoga

She is a devoted yoga teacher for over 10 years and inspired by yoga since the early 90s, Sheila Botton also hosts and leads yoga retreats and wellness workshops since 2017.

Her yoga style combines and harmonizes various yoga styles creating a flow to uplift and strengthen our bodies, release blocked energy and create alignments both physically and spiritually.

Sheila loves how yoga serves people at all stages of life. “The benefits of yoga practice for the mind, body & soul can be so subtle, yet so powerfully dynamic. I practice yoga in all its forms and make yoga a part of my life to maintain inner & outer strength and balance, a supple spine, a connection to the divine, a youthful essence, and finally to feel peace, love & gratitude.”

Her yoga classes often includes breathing techniques, guided meditation & visualization to ignite the chakras. “Through yoga sequences, breath work and meditation igniting the energy centers, we can quiet the mind, tune into our inner voice, make better choices for our higher selves and connect to our loving source.”

Mariette is one of our regular teacher on the Captain Jack.

Yoga teacher since 2006 and teacher trainer since 2009 she will guide you in a playful, relaxed, natural, joyful and inspiring way. She will help you explore & go deeper, progress, surrender in your practice during the week. So you experience all the benefits in your body, your energy and your mind. Feeling your true potential, letting go, relaxing.

Styles: Basic yoga, Tibetan yoga, yin/do-in yoga.

All levels welcome. This is an English yoga cruise, but of course instructions in Dutch (and other languages) are also possible wherever needed.
