When we rebuilt this old stone house, we pictured slow mornings on the veranda, the scent of jasmine drifting across the pool, and children racing upstairs to claim the balcony room.

Every wall still carries the texture of its past life, yet every bedroom (three in total, each with its own bathroom) feels fresh and uncluttered—cool tiles underfoot, crisp linen, quiet views of the valley below. Step outside and you’re in the garden: mulberries, lemons, and a riot of colour tumbling over the terrace. Ten paces more and the water is all yours, emerald in the midday sun, sapphire at dusk.

Evenings tend to stretch here. We light lanterns, scatter cushions on the wooden deck, and watch the sky fade from turquoise to deep indigo while the cicadas start their song. It’s the simple rhythm we hoped to share when we opened our doors.

In our opinion, our cozy Lisa Cottage offers the perfect escape for quality time together as a family. It is warm and inviting, with a sunny living room for quiet afternoons or playful evenings in front of the fireplace. A practical kitchen and the outdoor barbecue stand ready for shared meals, while our cozy bedrooms encourage restful nights.
