•There are 14 Turkish islands around the area as well as the Greek islands Kos and Kalimnos. The villa is in a very quiet location, but there are several beach resorts within a 10 minute walk allowing access to their swimming pools and childrens facilities if desired. The walk into Turgutreis from Kadikalesi has been improved as the local council have recently extended the coastal walkway. It is now possible to stroll into Turgutreis in about 25 minutes right along the coast, with the opportunity to stop at several bars/restaurants along the way. Unless you want to travel further afield, a car is not really necessary. It is a pleasant stroll to Turgutreis and taxi fares are very reasonable. The tourist agencies also offer collection and drop off for many excursions booked through them. (Also, many bars and restaurants will offer to collect you and/or drop you off in exchange for your custom). If you are looking for a quiet holiday location, Kadikalesi is ideal, also offering you the option of enjoying the neighbouring resort of Turgutreis. There is a dolmus bus (fare less than £1) that runs regularly into Turgutreis and Gumusluk renowned for its fish restaurants.
