While snorkeling on the beautiful Mt Irvine Reef in Tobago, our guests experienced an incredible bait ball encounter. Thousands of fish moved together as one giant living cloud, swirling around us in every direction.

Bait balls are one of nature’s most amazing survival strategies, helping small fish confuse predators through strength in numbers. Seeing one up close on a coral reef is something you’ll never forget.
