Republic Day road trip. First stop Nia Valley.

Took a trip to Guaico to renew my DP with my beautiful friend Antoinette Valentine-Lewis. Great office-clean and efficient. Quaint houses nearby. We took an adventurous drive on the Quaico-Tamana Rd. We attempted to go to Mundo Nuevo and Google Maps led us onto Los Armadillos Rd. This road was in a horrible state. Eventually we were forced to turn around when the road was reduced to dirt. Why are rural roads not maintained?!! Horrendous. This did not affect the natural beauty surrounding us. However, I had to focus on the road so intensely that I did not manage to take too many pictures. Eventually we turned around and returned to Guaico, to return to San Fernando the way we had gone. Such a shame! 😢
