Lopinot Experience
Take a trip into the old cocoa estate village of Lopinot with us at Hummy Tours. Enjoy a historical and cultural experience as we delve into the origins of the village, chocolate making and even view the fascinating cave formation in the area.
Itinerary includes:
1. Visit to the Count De Lopinot Tomb. Learn of his daring escape from Haiti and his plantation built by enslaved persons.
2. Visit to the Martin Gomez fruit bat cave
3. Interactive chocolate session with free samples
4. 'Dance de Cocoa' - The traditional way of polishing cocoa beans!
5. Delicious local lunch (optional - additional cost)
