🌊🇹🇹 Negmawah Bay isn’t just beautiful — it’s powerful.

Tucked along Trinidad’s wild north coast, this hidden bay holds a name with weight:
“Negmawah” comes from French-Creole and is believed to mean “runaway negro” or “hideout for slaves.”

During the days of slavery, this remote cove may have been a refuge for the brave — those who risked everything to escape the sugar plantations inland. 🗺️⛓️

Today, it’s a place of peace, but also remembrance — a living monument to resistance, survival, and the will to be free.

We visit in 2026‼️ 🌋🇱🇨 Did You Know? One of the Caribbean’s most iconic sights, Petit Piton in St. Lucia, isn’t just a pretty peak — it’s a volcanic giant with a wild history! ⛰️🔥

Formed by ancient eruptions near the Soufrière Volcano, Petit Piton rises dramatically from the sea, standing guard over the island’s west coast. 🗺️ Once sacred to the Indigenous Kalinago, later fought over by colonials, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site — this peak has seen it all.

⛏️ Steeper than its big brother Gros Piton, climbing Petit Piton is no joke — but the views are next level! 🌅

📍Location: Negmawah Bay , North Coast Trinidad 🇹🇹 Being part of a team means never giving up when things get tough!! Yesterday we both encountered an obstacle, but working together, we cut a trail and was able to safely rerun to our start point 🙏😃 memories like this we will never forget 😄
