It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dale Alexander one of our Executive Committee Members. He was amongst three persons from our community who were brutally murdered on May 1st, 2023. A valued member of the FIREHOUSE EXPERIENCE team HE WOULD BE TRULY missed.


WE are pleading with members of our community to be vigilant and cautious as we have lost three MEN who were fathers, husbands, and son’s in a brutal and senseless manner.

Please keep the families of these three men Dale Alexander aka ”Sasky”, Brian Perouse “aka Thusty” and Brandon Charles aka “Gin” in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

We always extend prayers and support to everyone who was adversely affected by the horrendous act and to the fourth victim aka “Soka” who is presently fighting for his life may he be granted the strength to pull through

RE: Carnival 2023

After much consideration the Firehouse Experience committee has taken a decision to cancel our annual J’ouvert Presentation.
“The show must go on” is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 20 plus years that this event will not take place and WE are devastated, to share this news with you.
This is not a decision that we the stakeholders, have taken lightly and there are two overriding concerns that have caused us to come to this conclusion.
One being the present Crime situation in our community and secondly the new strain of COVID 19 virus.
As a community, WE must take charge and try to bring our beautiful Santa Cruz, back to a place where we all feel safe and where we can socialize without fear.
