初二回娘家，初三將湧現的旅遊潮提前登場，單日破萬量車次，出現在苗栗大湖，不少遊客出門採草莓去，儘管不是盛產期，但是採果的勝率，還是很高，每十顆有五到七顆，至於計價方式，有遊客怕業者也把紙箱的重量算進去了，但果農強調，稱重一定會扣箱重，要遊客安心採果。
