Located in Taichung, Tu Niu Hakka Cultural Park serves as a "living museum" dedicated to the heritage of the prominent Liu clan. The site was originally the largest residential compound in the area, but it was wrecked by the September 21, 1999 earthquake. Through the dedicated efforts of the Liu descendants and the local community, the complex was meticulously reconstructed using its original architectural plans and reopened in 2006.
