That’s why, in 2026, we are excited to finally introduce our 9-Day Taiwan Small Group Tour—created with all of your wishes in mind.

Even if you’re traveling solo, you’re never really alone on this journey. With a minimum of just 6 guests to depart, you can enjoy a relaxed, intimate experience while connecting with like-minded travelers from around the world.

August may be hot, but it’s also one of the most exciting months to explore Taiwan—with vibrant seasonal events, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable cultural experiences. Here are 3 must-do activities you won’t want to miss this August:

🍊 1. Wander through golden daylily fields
Head to Sixty Stone Mountain or Chike Mountain in Hualien, or Taimali in Taitung to see hills covered in blooming golden daylilies. Visit in the morning for cooler weather and the best photo lighting!

🇮🇳 Planning a family trip from India to Taiwan? You're not alone!

This April, we had the pleasure of hosting a lovely Indian family who created unforgettable memories in Taiwan 💛

To help more families from India feel confident and excited about their journey, we’ve put together answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive:

✨ Top Questions Indian Families Ask Before Visiting Taiwan ✨

1️⃣ Are Indian restaurants easy to find in Taiwan?
Yes, in major cities like Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, there are many Indian restaurants, including those offering vegetarian and vegan options. However, in smaller towns or scenic areas like Yehliu, Jiufen, Shifen, Sun Moon Lake, and Alishan, Indian cuisine is not as available. In those places, we recommend local vegetarian restaurants or picking up vegetarian meals at convenience stores.

2️⃣ Is vegetarian food available in Taiwan?
Absolutely! Taiwan has a large vegetarian population, and we can help arrange meals that fit dietary needs—whether you're vegan, lacto-ovo vegetarian, or avoid beef. Hotels and B&Bs can also provide vegetarian breakfasts with advance notice.

3️⃣ What kid-friendly activities are there?
Taiwan is perfect for family travel! We recommend fun and safe activities like tea-making workshops, paper DIY, traditional indigo dyeing, pineapple cake and bubble tea DIY, riding the Maokong Gondola, cycling around Sun Moon Lake, and relaxing in hot springs.

4️⃣ Where can we go shopping?
Many Indian travelers enjoy shopping for electronics—Syntrend and Guanghua Digital Plaza in Taipei are great spots. For souvenirs and fun finds, visit Ximending, Zhongshan area, Dihua Street, Taipei 101 Mall, and local night markets.

5️⃣ What’s the best way to get around?
We offer private transportation services with vehicles tailored to your group size. Taiwan’s high-speed rail and metro systems are convenient, but for families with young children or seniors, private transfers offer the most comfort and ease.

6️⃣ What’s the best time to visit Taiwan?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–December) are ideal for pleasant weather. Summer (June–August) is warmer but great for outdoor fun. Winter (January–February) is cooler and perfect for hot spring visits.

7️⃣ What language do the guides speak?
We can provide English-speaking guides throughout the trip.

This week, we brought better self-awareness to how we approach the deep diversity of our team and ourselves through a workshop led by Uncertain Pathfinders Chief Possibility Officer, Jeffrey Schwab. Many thanks to our CEO wen pan Lin, as well as the coordinating team of Core Liu and Chloe Kung for helping to organize the logistics for the day!

🥒 I love visiting markets in different places — seeing what vegetables are in season and hearing the vendors’ recommendations. One time in Hualien花蓮, a fruit vendor told me that young people don’t shop at markets anymore; most of the customers who come now are really just there to chat. 🍉 🥝

In recent years, due to media and brand promotions, the festival has also become synonymous with BBQ gatherings. The aroma of grilled food can fill the streets for days, sometimes even a week.
