A Maasai giraffe walks slowly. Its long neck reaches up to the Kigelia africana tree, grabbing its favorite leaves. Being so tall—sometimes 18 feet—makes it easy to eat what others can’t. is full of animals like leopards and buffalo, but the Maasai giraffe just keeps browsing, chewing leaves for hours.
