A good Kilimanjaro climb starts with a good night’s rest.

After hours of trekking, your tent becomes your home on the mountain.

That’s why at Everyday Safaris, the quality of our camping equipment matters. We use good-quality mountain tents designed to provide our climbers with a comfortable and protected place to rest between trekking days.

Because on Kilimanjaro, sleep isn’t just about comfort. Proper rest helps you recover, recharge and prepare for the next day on the mountain.

When you arrive at camp, our crew takes care of setting everything up so you can settle in, change into something warm, have your meal and get the rest you need.

Small details make a big difference at altitude.

Good equipment. Good rest. Another day closer to Uhuru Peak.

Climb Kilimanjaro with Everyday Safaris.

You’re exhausted. Your legs are heavy. Then the sun rises… and suddenly, everything feels different.

This is the final stretch of Kilimanjaro.

You’ve reached Gilman’s Point, but Uhuru Peak is still ahead. Your body is asking you to stop. Every step feels slower than the last.

And then morning breaks above the clouds.

For a moment, you forget how tired you are.

You look around. You look back at how far you’ve come. And you realise you are walking through a sunrise at nearly 6,000 metres above sea level, towards the Roof of Africa.

It’s difficult to explain this feeling to someone who hasn’t stood here.

Exhausted. Excited. Emotional. Alive.

Maybe that is one of Kilimanjaro’s greatest gifts — you come looking for a summit, but somewhere along the way, you see life from a completely different perspective.

One step at a time. Pole pole. Uhuru is getting closer. 🇹🇿

Would you do this once in your lifetime?

Save this for your Kilimanjaro dream and tag the person you would climb with.

That feeling when you’ve just finished Kilimanjaro!

After days together on the Lemosho Route, Linda and her friends are back at the gate — tired, happy and with plenty to smile about.

There are challenging moments on Kilimanjaro, but this is what waits at the other end: the satisfaction of knowing you did it, the stories you now share, and memories from the mountain that will stay with you for years.

Four friends. One incredible adventure. And a very happy ending to their time on Kilimanjaro.

Congratulations Linda and friends!

Thinking about climbing Kilimanjaro with your own group of friends? Come experience the mountain with Everyday Safaris.

This is Ngorongoro. 🇹🇿

A herd of zebra on the open grasslands, the vast crater walls in the distance, and a safari unfolding right in the middle of it all.

Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater is one of those moments that reminds you just how special Tanzania is. Within this remarkable landscape, wildlife roams freely and every drive brings a new encounter.

This is not simply about seeing animals. It is about being there — watching, listening and experiencing one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations for yourself.

Explore Tanzania with Everyday Safaris.

This is what 5,895 metres looks like. 🏔️

The smiles. The exhaustion. The cold. And that incredible feeling when you finally see the words:

UHURU PEAK — TANZANIA, 5,895M AMSL

Getting here takes days of walking, changing landscapes, early mornings, cold nights and one final push toward the Roof of Africa.

Then suddenly, you’re standing at the highest point in Africa. 🇹🇿

For many people, Kilimanjaro starts as a dream.

One day, it becomes a photo like this.

Your Kilimanjaro experience depends on more than the route you choose. It depends on the people you climb with.

For Tess, it was the personal attention, knowledgeable guides, careful pacing, altitude management, good food and a mountain crew that genuinely cared throughout the journey.

Her 5-star Google review captures exactly what we want every climber to experience:

Professional support. Local expertise. Genuine care. An unforgettable journey.

We are a locally run Tanzanian team, and Kilimanjaro is our home. Our job isn’t simply to take you up the mountain — it is to prepare you properly, look after you along the way and give you the best possible experience from your first day with us to your final steps off the mountain.

Thank you, Tess, for choosing Everyday Safaris and for trusting our guides, porters and entire mountain team with such an important adventure.
