Today’s journey takes us from Karanga Camp, climbing higher for acclimatization and a well-earned lunch before descending to Barafu Camp, our final overnight stop before summit night.
This “climb high, sleep low” strategy is one of the most important parts of a successful Kilimanjaro ascent, giving our bodies time to adapt to the altitude while enjoying some of the mountain’s most spectacular scenery.
