✍️In Tanzania, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater are the main habitats for lions. In reality, lions do not reside in the jungle.
✍️Their natural habitat is an open savanna where they hunt mammals like zebras, gazelles, and antelope. They may also cooperate to catch larger mammals such as buffalo, giraffes and even crocodiles. Lionesses, or female lions, usually do most of the hunting.
✍️They occasionally cooperate to flush out prey. It will be difficult for prey to flee because one lion will scare it toward the other lions.
✍️Lions live in groups called prides. These prides typically include 3 adult males, up to 15 lionesses, and their young. The average lion has a body length of 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 feet and a tail length of 26 1/4 inches to 3 1/4 feet.
✍️They can weigh up to 500 pounds and reach heights of up to 3 1/2 feet.
