ETOSHA TRAGEDY đđĽ
A poor elephant in Namibia's Etosha National Park was trapped in a raging bushfire, badly burned and covered in wounds. Once a majestic creature roaming the grasslands, it is now a charred co**se as the flames cannot escape.
Dry winds and burning grass have caused the fire to spread rapidly, destroying the habitats of countless species that are thirsty and looking for food in the dry land. Rangers are still trying to rescue injured animals, but many areas are too remote to reach.
The image of the elephant is a heartbreaking reminder that even the largest and most powerful creatures are helpless in the face of natural disasters caused by climate change.
