CLIMB THE ROOF OF AFRICA – 6 DAYS MARANGU ROUTE
The Marangu route is one of the most popular routes to the summit of Kilimanjaro. This could partly be as a result of the fact that the Marangu is the least expensive route, but more so, perhaps the fact that it is possible to do the Marangu route in 5 days, thereby getting to the summit one day earlier compared to the Machame route. This is not always the best way, due to a shorter acclimatisation period.
The Marangu route does however offer you the option of spending an extra acclimatisation day on the mountain. This extends the route into a 6-day trek, greatly increasing your chances of success. Shared hut accommodation on the Marangu route forms one of the main differences, compared to the other routes. It offers you the relative luxury of being able to sleep in huts along the entire route. Mineral water, soft drinks, chocolates and beers are also sold at all the camps on this route.
DAY 0: ARRIVAL TO TANZANIA.
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro international airport and transferred to your hotel in moshi town, you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. The missing gear can be rented on this day .
Meals: no lunch & dinner included.
DAY 1: MARANGU GATE (1860M) TO MANDARA HUT (2700M)
After breakfast and a briefing from your guide, leave Moshi at 8 AM, drive for 45 minutes to the Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro, register with the national park, and begin hiking at 10:30 AM. In the rainforest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Colubus monkeys. At these lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy, so gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts should be sufficient, but keep your rain gear and warmer clothing handy. Stop halfway for lunch, and reach the Mandara Huts at 2 or 3 PM. Unpack, rest, and have some tea or coffee. A 15 minute side trip to Maundy Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. Dinner is served during the early evening at 7 PM. Bathrooms with running water are available..

4 DAYS CLASSIC SERENGETI SAFARI
Tanzania is a safari paradise with stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and diverse cultures. This tour will take you to Ngorongoro Crater where you can enjoy its blue-green vistas and unparalleled concentration of wildlife; Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site and home to various wildlife, including lions, cheetahs and at certain times of the year, the wildebeest migration.

DAY 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha, and from there we drive to Serengeti National Park. Your first game drive follows in the afternoon.

DAY 2: Serengeti National Parks
Today is dedicated to a full day game drive along Serengeti plains- home to elusive lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelles, and crocodiles among others.
Meals: B,L,D
Accommodation: Osupuko tented Camps

DAY 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
We rise early and drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour. We head back to Arusha late afternoon and arrive in the evening where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Accommodation: Accommodation can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 4: Arusha to Moshi
On this Day after breakfast we will wake up early in the morning heading to Moshi for the Day hike/ Materuni trip,late evening we will drop you off at your place or Hotel in Arusha or Moshi
