Don't think you could ever get bored of watching these gentle giants whilst on safari. They move, they eat, they scratch, they kick, they rumble - it's just so fascinating - all whilst being quite exhilarating.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Wilderness First Response and First Aid courses over the past few weeks.

It has been incredible to see so many guides, camp staff, drivers, outdoor professionals, and childcare professionals dedicating their time and energy to learning the skills needed to keep others safe in remote environments. The ability to stay calm, assess a situation, and react appropriately in an emergency can make all the difference.

A special thank you as well to for once again bringing such knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging instructors together in Tanzania. We are incredibly grateful for the time, expertise, and commitment you continue to invest in training people across the safari and outdoor industry.

Here’s to safer adventures, stronger teams, and continued learning out in the field. 👏🌍⛑️

** Please note that the next courses will take place in November 2026 **

Not much beats being out in the bush. In this case - the Serengeti.

As the sun dips below the horizon, there’s something truly special about gathering around the bush TV 🔥, surrounded by the sounds of nature settling into night.

Baboons rustling into their sleeping spots.
Birds making their final flights across the fading sky.
Cicadas offering their evening chorus.
And the distant whoops of hyenas, beginning their night shift.

These are the moments that stay with you - the stillness, the sounds, the feeling of being completely immersed in the wild.

This week’s appreciation goes to Julius, Dalali, Gade, and the incredible Hadza community we are honoured to work with.

We recently had the privilege of spending time with them at Pembezoni Camp, where Julius is based year-round, and it was a truly special experience.

From hearing their remarkable stories spoken in their mother tongue click language, to seeing their traditional dress and witnessing the deep connection they have with nature, it was a powerful reminder of the richness of Tanzania’s cultural heritage.

Their knowledge, traditions, and way of life are both inspiring and humbling—and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from and work alongside them.

Asante sana to Julius, Dalali, Gade, and the wider Hadza community for sharing your stories, wisdom, and spirit with us.

Cheers to the new week and for being on safari with friends ✌

Appreciation post for Hemedi and Hoza 👏

Last week they were out on a major film trip, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every moving part came together seamlessly.

From long days to constant coordination, their hard work and focus ensured the crew got the footage they needed - and had a great experience while doing it.

Thank you both for your dedication, energy, and professionalism. We’re lucky to have you on the team.
