Now starts the best time for birding! Any of the parks are good for this, but we can especially recommend Arusha National Park and Lake Manyara. With some luck we will also see some newborn mammals.

Perfect view around the peak of Mt Meru today. More cloudy around Kili, though not sure how it was at sunrise. Lucky those who climbed the former today. A pleasant day, though a bit windy today. Heading for a pleasant week on white beaches in Pangani for Christmas! Will also reflect on more specialized journeys in our repertoire, besides the usual wild life safaris, climbings and beaches. Please post suggestions!! Adventures? Culture? Culinary experiences? Music? Etc.

Went to Marangu today! These hot days... it is so much cooler there. Making bookings now for Pangani. Good place for Christmas as it is not as hot as Zanzibar.

Our new office is ready. From the upper part both Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru is visible right now, though Kili has been hiding a lot lately.
