offices and vehicle maintenance centres in Arusha headquarters and Dar es Salaam branch office, to our on
safari base at Ngorongoro, everything has been planned to improve and enhance our services to the customer. It is an elaborate plan to ensure that our clients are personally taken care of by our own staff using Leopard Tours preferred equipment. All three offices are fully equipped with state‐of‐the‐art communication facilities, including base HF radio station networks to link our operations and vehicles on safari all over Tanzania. In Zanzibar we have our own customer service and operations staff based on the ground to ensure our
guests enjoy the Leopard Tours personalised attention. Well Trained & Experienced Personnel
Leopard Tours Ltd employs over 600 staff including the driver‐guides, operations, field and customer
service staff. The company has a policy to employ only those with the potential to be the best, in terms
of performance and discipline. About 90% of the staff have at least 10 years experience in the tourism
industry. The driver‐guides and couriers are hand picked and are continually undergoing in‐house
training on relevant areas including clients' safety, nature interpretation, general knowledge, and
foreign languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese. The operations
staff on the other hand, undergo frequent in‐house training on customer service, product knowledge
and general business ethics. Highly Maintained Safari & Sightseeing Fleet
We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable
vehicles on safari. In response to the clients' needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy
that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 300 well‐maintained motor vehicles,
predominantly 4‐wheel drive (4WD) safari vehicles (Land Rovers & Land Cruisers) with 6‐window seats. This does away with the challenges of sub‐contracting vehicles and driver‐guides, which may
compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space
and comfort. All of them have hatched roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and
convenient photography during game drives and sight seeing. The 4‐wheel drives are “all‐weather”
safari vehicles with reinforced suspensions, providing us with the flexibility to operate in a wider range
of terrain and tropical weather conditions deep in the wilderness roads. Fully Equipped Fleet Workshop
Leopard Tours Ltd has a large multipurpose workshop at the Head Office in Arusha with some of the
best technicians in East Africa to ensure that the fleet's performance is up to the required standard. A modern garage of similar standard but on a smaller scale will soon be operational in our Dar es
Salaam branch office to cater for vehicles operating in the southern Tanzania safari circuit. In addition, to ensure instant assistance and relief services for vehicles on safari, we are maintaining an
outpost office in Ngorongoro, standby vehicles in the Serengeti, and a mobile garage in the northern
Tanzania safari circuit. In line with our continued efforts to ensure smooth and distress free services for
our clients, we have instituted a web‐based Fleet Management and Vehicle GPS / GPRS Tracking
System that enables us track, monitor and manage our growing fleet anywhere within the East African
region and beyond. These support services are essential for Leopard Tours, as we have set high standards of services for

Given the volume of business that we produce in the destination, we are enjoying very favourable
contracts with the local suppliers, including hotels, lodges and domestic air transport operators. The
rates benefits are passed on to the producers/agents to enable them sell on the marketplace, while the
good number of rooms allocated to us by the main hotel chains make it easier for our reservations to
process and confirm bookings within a short time. Leopard Tours & The Community
Since its inception, the Management of Leopard Tours has been committed to sharing benefits realized
from our tour operations with the local community. The company is continually involved in community
development projects in the areas of healthcare and education, supporting the less privileged

Leopard Tours is dedicated to preservation of the environment and is engaged in tree planting within
Arusha Town. Due to our efforts we have been awarded a certificate of recognition by the
Municipality. We are doing this both to beautify the town and as our contribution in keeping the world
green. Currently, Leopard Tours has been granted space by the Arusha Municipality in which we plan
