Tarangire National Park

Day after day of cloudless skies, the fierce tropical sun sucks the landscape dry, baking the earth a dusty red, withering the grass until it’s as brittle and yellow as straw. The Tarangire River has shriveled to a shadow of its wet season self. But it is chocked wildlife. Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of parched kilometers knowing that here always there is water.

Tarangire extends to you a very cordial welcome. We are thrilled to have you here and we appreciate for trusting us. Whether you are visiting here for a day trip or having an overnight, Tarangire has something for everyone. The park is impressively splendid for its famous concentration of wild animals especially the elephants and it is also one of the finest birding destinations in East Africa. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park and covers an area of 2850 km square.

Lake Manyara National Park

Nested below the dramatic rift valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park was extolled by Hemingway as the loveliest I had seen in Africa. Today Lake Manyara remains a rare scenic gem ,with edges tinted pink by thousands of flamingos and a compact game viewing circuit offering a thrilling microorganism of the Tanzania Safari experience.

The lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees of the ground water forest, the tree climbing lions, the soda lake inhabited with thousands of pink-hued flamingos, large water birds and the troops of baboons and blue monkeys and the rift valley escarpment make your safari to this area unforgettable. The park derives its name from a plant called Euphorbia tirucalli, known as Emanyara in Maasai language and covers an area of 648.7 km Square.

Vegetation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro is home to desert plants as well as lush green, rain-watered vegetation . The area has abundant short grass used for grazing, arid and semi-arid plant communities, uncultivated lowland vegetation and highland forests.

On Oldeani Mountain and Pencil Cedar on Makarut Mountain to the west there are extensive stretches of pure bamboo. Dove-weeds are prominent on the lower slopes, while the upland woodlands are home to Red Thorn Acacia and Gum Acacia -critical for protecting the watershed. Scrub heath, high open moorland, grasslands and what’s left of the dense evergreen forests cover the slopes of the crater, while highland trees including Yellow-Wood, Kousso (Hagenia abyssinica), Peacock Flower and Sweet Olive are also found. All of this makes it truly unique, and a wonderful stop on of our Photography Safaris in Tanzania.

The basin of the crater is covered by open short grass plains with fresh water lakes, swamps, marshes, and two patches of Acacia woodland. Laiyanai Forest has Pillar Wood and Acacia Lahai while the Lerai Forest is home to the Yellow Fever tree and Acacia. The plains to the west are grass-covered with occasional Umbrella Acacia and Commiphora Africana trees. In the drier conditions besides Lake Eyasi, Blackthorn Acacia and Zebrawood dominate. These vast grasslands and bush are rich, relatively untouched by cultivation, and support large populations of animals.

Zanzibar is an island of experiences

Zanzibar is a tropical haven that enchants travelers with its pristine beaches, vibrant cultural heritage, and intriguing history. Nestled off the coast of Tanzania, this breathtaking archipelago is celebrated for its soft, powdery sands, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and gently swaying palms—offering the perfect retreat for both relaxation and adventure seekers.

Beyond its stunning shores, Zanzibar boasts a rich legacy shaped by centuries of trade, where African, Arab, Persian, and European influences merge to create a one-of-a-kind cultural mosaic. The island’s winding alleyways, exquisitely carved wooden doors, and lively markets in Stone Town reveal a past filled with stories, making every exploration a journey through time and tradition.

Serengeti National Park

A million wildebeest each one driven by the same ancient rhythm ,fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life, a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating ,survival of the fittest as 40km(25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile infested water in the annual exodus north, replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8000 calves daily before the 1000 km (600 miles ) pilgrimage begins again.

The Serengeti is one of the most famous parks in Africa and is synonymous with wildlife and classic African scenery. It is Tanzania’s oldest park and a Unesco World Heritage Site. It is home to the spectacular wildebeest migration and offers top-class wildlife viewing throughout the year.Maasai people called this park ‘Siringet‘, meaning endless plains. The Serengeti speaks for itself and with good reason not only the migration of over 1 million wildebeest through its plains and woodlands but also unique landscapes and other spectacular wildlife.

10 Days Stunning Luxury Bird Watching Safari in Northern Tanzania

On this 10 days birding watching Safari in northern Tanzania you will enjoy the Northern Really amazing experience. Northern Tanzania contains perhaps the most magnificent wildlife spectacle on Earth! The famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater still support over two million large mammals; vast herds of herbivores and accompanying carnivores live in this immense wilderness and we shall experience this wondrous sight whilst traveling through this superlative region, where some of the best birding in Africa occurs. We begin on the wooded hillsides between Mount Meru and the mighty Kilimanjaro and visit a diverse cross-section of this wonderful country.

The list of splendid wildlife seems endless – lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes – and birding will be awesome, from Ostriches to Martial Eagles and Secretary Birds, from sunbirds to sand grouse, bustards and hornbills. We descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. There is so much to see here – fabulous birds, lots of large mammals including the alarmingly rare Black Rhinoceros, breathtaking scenery. We also take in Tarangire National Park, home to classic baobab trees and large numbers of African Elephants. The indelible memories on our Tanzania birding and wildlife safari of marvelous wildlife, dramatic scenery and still present wilderness are to be cherished for a lifetime!
