Kopjes in the Serengeti - Explore the Serengeti with us!

The flat plains of The Serengeti are broken in several places granite “islands” called kopjes. The kopjes were created millions of years ago when volcanic bubbles broached the surface and solidified, and were subsequently eroded by rains and floods, carving out the singularly beautiful forms you see today. Rainwater run-off from the kopjes and permanent water pools caught in rocky clefts make them particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry season when lions like to lie in wait for other animals coming to feed or drink.
The Kopjes are favorites among many cats.

✈️ 🇹🇿 HOW TO FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS TO TANZANIA ✈️🇹🇿

• To find cheap flights to Tanzania from anywhere in the world, compare fares using meta-search engines like Google Flights, Skyscanner, or Momondo. Set price alerts and fly during the low season (March–May, October - November) to snag the lowest possible fare.

• Target the Right Airports:
Dar es Salaam (DAR): The largest international hub, which typically features the most competitive flight options from Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and Asia.
Kilimanjaro (JRO): Best for northern safaris (Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro). Flights here can be slightly more expensive, but you save on domestic transfers.
Zanzibar (ZNZ): Ideal if your primary destination is the coast.

• Choose the Best Airlines Major global carriers operate reliable, 1-stop routes to Tanzania from all major continents:
From Europe: KLM (via Amsterdam), Turkish Airlines, and Ethiopian Airlines.
From the US: Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Delta/KLM.
From Australia: Qatar Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines.
From Asia/Middle East: Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Oman Air.
From Africa: Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines offer great continental connections.

• Time Your Booking and Travel Best Months to Fly: September generally offers some of the best route pricing, while February and off-season months (March to May, October to November) see fewer crowds and cheaper tickets. Avoid December due to holiday travel.
Best Days to Fly: Studies show that taking off on a Tuesday or Monday, rather than weekends, yields the lowest airfares.

• Set Alerts: Use tools like Google Flights Alerts or Skyscanner Price Alerts to track fluctuating prices before you book.

Welcome to Tanzania! 🇹🇿
