Daniel, our guide was incredible. He really took great care of the two of us. He went to great lengths to ensure that everything was a success during our safari. Everything is very well organized from the pick-up upon arrival at the airport until departure.
The parks visited are wonderful (Tarangire, Serengeti, etc.)
The selected lodges offer great services. Quite an adventure, in particular, under the tents of the Serengeti park to find yourself in the middle of nowhere and sleep to the sounds of wild animals.
It was a choice that allowed us to do the safari privately, so 2 in a 4x4. Safari Eyes Tour is a sure bet for a vacation without traces...for those who dream of going on a safari or those who want to relive the experience.

🌿 A Personal Update From Me…
Most of you know me as Daniel — your safari guide behind Safari Eyes Tours.
With Safari Eyes, I’ve always tried to show you the real Tanzania through my own eyes: the wildlife, the landscapes, and the moments that stay with you long after the safari is over.

Today, I’m happy to share something new and very meaningful.

We are creating a small Bed & Breakfast in Arusha — Meru Nest.

Meru Nest is a project built with a lot of heart.
Not luxury, not big — but warm, local, welcoming.
A place where guests can rest before or after their safari and experience a calm, authentic side of Arusha.

Right now, we are in the renovation phase — painting, improving, shaping the house into a comfortable home step by step.
We plan to open in January, and I’ll soon share the first photos so you can follow the progress.

If you’d like to support this new chapter, it would mean a lot to us.
Please follow our new page: Meru Nest Arusha.
👉 Updates, behind-the-scenes, and the journey of building this place will all be shared there.

Asante sana for your support — and for believing in what we do. 💚

Arusha National Park Overview

Location:
📍 25 km (about 40 min) northeast of Arusha town
Between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, in northern Tanzania.

Size:
~137 km² (small but incredibly diverse).

Best for:
Walking safaris, canoeing, scenic views, forest and mountain wildlife, and a relaxed start to your safari before the bigger parks.

🌿 What Makes It Special

Despite being small, Arusha National Park packs a huge range of landscapes and wildlife:
• The Ngurdoto Crater (a “mini Ngorongoro”).
• The Momella Lakes — shallow alkaline lakes often colored pink by flamingos.
• The forested slopes of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain (4,566 m).
• Lush highland forests full of colobus monkeys, birds, and waterfalls.

It’s one of the few Tanzanian parks where you can walk among wildlife, guided by an armed ranger.

🦒 Wildlife You Can See

Although Arusha NP doesn’t have lions or elephants in large numbers, it offers excellent variety for its size:
