River royalty 🌊🦛Hippos of Serengeti chilln' in their element. Here are some fun and cool facts about Hippopotamus;

🦛 River dwellers* Hippos spend up to 16 hours a day in water, soaking up the cool and protecting their skin from the sun.

🦛 Big mouths* Hippos have huge mouths that can open up to 150 degrees, showing off their massive teeth.

🦛 Speed demons* Despite their size, hippos can run up to 30 km/h (19 mph) on land and swim at 8 km/h (5 mph) in water.

🦛 Social creatures* Hippos live in groups (called pods) of up to 40 individuals, led by a dominant male.

🦛Territorial* Hippos mark their territory with dung (yes, p**p!) and can be aggressive if you get too close.

🦛Mud masks* Hippos love rolling in mud to protect their skin from sunburn and bugs.

🦛Grumpy but cute* Hippos are known for their grumpy faces, but they're actually quite adorable (if you keep a safe distance 😅).
