Undomesticated Tours

We believe that safaris are a unique chance for everyone of us to get closer to nature and experience moments and emotions that no other adventure can offer. We believe that the real safari requires passion, love for the nature and the animals, and drive for adventure and cultural enrichment. We believe that everyone heading for a safari wants to be a part of a lifetime expe

rience and this makes the safari much more than a pure tourist attraction. That is why we put all out passion in what we are doing and we never make compromises with the quality of the service we offer. We believe that the knowledge level of our guides has to answer all the high expectations of every passionate person, looking for profound and sincere encounter with Africa and its colourfulness. We also believe that every safari is a chance for everyone to get to know the African culture, people’s mentality and way of living, which very often can only enrich our own acceptance of the world.

Ngorongoro Crater lies in Ngorongoro Conservation Area – this is one of the most famous parks in Tanzania. The reason Ngorongoro is treated as Conservation Area but National Park is the fact that the local people, Maasai people, are allowed to inhabit this area.

One of the top attractions of the Ngorongoro is the Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is actually the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It is also the largest “open air” zoo in the world and here you can see a lot of the African animals in their intact habitat.

More information about Ngorongoro and an amazing video can be found at the link below:

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is located in north Tanzania and extends to south-western Kenya. It spans some 30,000 km2.

Serengeti hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, which helps secure it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world. Serengeti is also renowned for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment. The region contains the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and several game reserves.

Approximately 70 larger mammal and some 500 avifauna species are found there. This high diversity in terms of species is a function of diverse habitats ranging from riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. Blue wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffaloes are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region.

The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai language, Maa; specifically, "Serengit" meaning "Endless Plains".

Undomesticated Tours offers you a unique chance to visit Serengeti National Park on a tailor made safari trip, together with the other National Parks from the Northern Circuit in Tanzania.

Southern circuit

The Southern circuit consists of four main parks – Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park and Udzungwa Mountains National Park.

Being the second largest national park, Ruaha is also one of Tanzania’a least accessible and relatively untouched pieces of nature. This park is especially known for its elephants and hippos.
Udzungwa Mountains National Park is the largest of a chain of a dozen large forest-swathed mountains that rise majestically in Tanzania.
Mikumi National Park is the most accessible park in the Southern circuit. It is famous with its abundant wildlife that draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti National Park.

Western circuit

The Western circuit is rarely visited by tourists. This area is hard to reach but this is the only place in Tanzania to see one of the most interesting wild animals – the Chimpanzee. Gombe and Mahale National Parks are the natural home of the chimps but they also hide stunning scenery of nature in all its beauty.

In this part of Tanzania is situated also the world’s deepest and Africa’s longest Lake Tanganyika. With mountains rising up from the lake shore and the morning tranquility, this is one of the most relaxing places to visit.

Katavi National Park and the Kalambo Falls are the perfect last touch to a trip in the Western circuit.
