Tarangire National Park received its name from the Tarangire River that flows through the northern portion of the park.

The river becomes the primary source of water for the animals residing in the park during the dry season.

During the dry season, a mini-migration takes place, during which around 250.000 animals move around looking for water.

Besides the elephants (there’s herds of up to 300 elephants!), you’ll also find lots of buffalos and zebras and decent amounts of giraffes, lions, cheetahs and leopards and different species of bird.

It covers an area of 2,850 square kilometers. It lies between the meadows of the Masai Steppe in the southeast and rift valley lakes in the north and west.

Tarangire’s landscape is made of granite ridges, river valleys, and swamps. Its vegetation is a mix of woodlands, seasonally flooded grassland, and baobab trees.

We were privileged to host a group of 26 brave women from Brazil who flew to Serengeti from Zanzibar.
Our team of 4 guides with our Photographer were waiting for them at Seronera Airstrip in Central Serengeti.
After a nice coffee ☕️break with some snacks then it was time to go enjoy their safari.
Central Serengeti is famous for the abundance of cats.
They were able to see Leopard on the tree, lions, cheetahs and many more.
After all these they were able to do balloon safari to see wildlife from different perspectives/angle.

Driving to Ngorongoro crater enable the to see Black rhinos 🦏 which is endangered species.
Many lions, zebras, hyenas, hippos 🦛 and many more wildlife to see.
This is a historic trip to many people who visit Tanzania !
It is a life time safari experience!
We are grateful and looking forward to seeing you someday!

The calving season of the Great Migration usually takes place between January and February of each year in Ndutu Area (Southern Serengeti).

And it’s better to note that the exact timings of the journey vary depending on seasonal rainfall, so these timings are merely a guideline.

The wildebeests prefer to deliver calves in the Ndutu plains because of the fertile soil that produces fresh green grass for feeding their calves.

Every year, the wildebeests give birth to thousands of calves between January and early march in the Ndutu plains.

In the backdrop, you’ll spot zebra and gazelle grazing in the sprawling grasslands too.

They perform the valuable function of eating the longer grasses that are less appetizing to juvenile wildebeest.

Once the zebra and gazelle have grazed, the soft, nutritious shoots lie exposed – perfect for young wildebeest calves to nibble on with ease.

It’s a sight ti behold! Take advantage of our offer and enjoy up to 15% off discount when you book early for 2024.
Welcome to a journey that changes lives !

I had the privilege to spend a four-day safari with Lomo. This was a life-changing experience, and I will forever cherish the memories I have made with Lomo. I had always dreamt of partaking in an African Safari trip, and this trip has fulfilled this dream of mine. The staff were all very kind and attentive to the group’s needs. My trip consisted of four days across Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro National Park, Arusha National Park, and Tarangire, and I visited the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. This trip was beyond my expectations, and I would not have changed anything about my trip... Read more

The sights and sounds of green season (rainy season) are all around and that only means one thing in the Tanzania – a lot of adorable new borns!

Tarangire National Park is home to a variety of fascinating wildlife and among the most enchanting to encounter on a safari, are the baby impalas. Watching the playful antics of these beautiful young antelopes on a game drive is a sight to behold!
