Snake bites can be dangerous and may require immediate medical attention. Here’s a guide on what to do in case of a snake bite:

1. Stay Calm and Keep Still
Try to stay calm and move as little as possible to prevent the venom from spreading quickly through the bloodstream.
Reassure the person who’s been bitten, as anxiety can increase heart rate and speed up venom spread.
2. Positioning the Body
Keep the affected limb at or below heart level to slow the spread of venom.
Have the person lie down if possible, to help stay calm and keep the bite area still.
3. Remove Tight Clothing or Jewelry
Quickly remove anything constricting near the bite, such as rings, bracelets, or shoes, as the area may swell.
4. Seek Emergency Help
Call emergency services or get the person to a hospital as soon as possible. Snake bites are medical emergencies.
Describe the snake (if possible) to the medical personnel to help them provide the appropriate antivenom.
5. Avoid Certain Actions
Do not apply a tourniquet, as this can restrict blood flow and cause more tissue damage.
Do not cut the wound or try to suck out the venom.
Do not apply ice, as this can worsen tissue damage.
6. Keep Track of Symptoms
Monitor the person for signs of shock, breathing difficulties, or swelling, which may indicate the venom is spreading.

Acclimatization: The Machame and Rongai Routes are good for acclimatization due to their longer itineraries and gradual ascents.
Accommodation Preferences: If you prefer staying in huts rather than camping, the Marangu Route is the only option.
Crowd Levels: If you want to avoid the crowds, consider the Rongai or Umbwe Routes, which are less traveled.
Each route offers a unique experience, and the best choice depends on your preferences and physical condition.
